Love ours. Wish it was closer.
This, except for the produce. Like another pp said, you have to eat it w/in a day.
Another small perk is that while they only take cash or debit, you can get a lot of cash back. At least one of the big name grocery stores near me only lets you get $30. At Aldi, it's more like $200.

I like it but, I don't like their fresh meats. The produce has to be eaten within 48 hours MAX or it goes bad. A lot of their staples are a great price.

Our local Aldi's is a few towns away about a half hour 40 minutes away so I don't think to go there. Money has been tight around here lately maybe I'll have to go down and check things out again and see if it's worth my time to go there.

My husband loves it, I just like it. There are some good deals to be had, but I have trouble focusing when I'm there. I don't know why---I just can't get into a flow there like I can at my regular grocery store.
It is a lot of fun to shop there during the holidays. They have really unique chocolates/candies and baked good options.

Our Aldi's is nice and kept very clean. I can't do my regular shopping there because there are just too many things they don't have, but I make a run there periodically for a few items. Big bags of raw almonds for healthy snacking, for example.
I'm surprised by so many saying the produce at their store is not good or spoils too quickly. Produce has been one of the things at our store I've been most impressed with. I love the three-pack of peppers (red, orange, and yellow), the asparagus, mushrooms, specialty lettuces, lemons, and other items that are MUCH cheaper than the regular grocery store.
I've never bought meats there.
Their fresh flower bouquets are crazy cheap, too.

We have one that opened up a few months ago and I have been shopping there regularly. I can get a good amount for us for the week there. Haven't had an issue with produce going bad either.

I LOVE Aldi. Ours used to be small and in a bad part of town, they moved it to the Target parking lot and it is huge and brand new.
I buy most of our staples there, love the milk prices ( we go through 4 gallons a week!! ) some of my favorites are Dark Roast coffee k-cups Pork Tenderloin Cheese selection and quality Tyson Whole Chickens Fresh Flowers Seasonal Items- always something different and high quality

Love Aldi!
Is no one going to mention how FAST you can get in and out of there once you learn your store? Seriously, I can get my whole cart filled and bagged up in 15 minutes. Can't do that anywhere else.

No Aldi's here where I live but in the south where my folks were they shopped there a lot. Some good buys but like everywhere you shop you have to watch your prices and quality.

Love it for some things. It is a sister company of Trader joe's. Some product are EXACTLY the same. Held up the boxes side by side and zero nutrition or ingredient difference. Like anywhere you have to buy what is best for you. Ours is a high volume store so the produce turns over fast. And if you have a problem you can return for a refund and a replacement. They are stocking more organic fresh produce, low sodium and fage yogurt. Cheeses are great!
It is super close to my house. I have noticed prices edging up. I have used it for years as a convenient stop and am sad it is so freaking busy all the time. Ow.

I go to ours occasionally but I am not fond of it. Ours is cramped and dirty. You have to try their brands of stuff -- some if it is fine and some isn't.

I love ours--and it doesn't hurt that it's in the plaza across the street from our neighborhood! I buy most of our groceries there. Most of the time the produce is good and lasts me the week. There are times that it's not the best, so I just don't buy it then. The butter is super cheap compared to regular grocery store prices as are the milk and eggs. Their cereal is good--we don't really eat a ton of it, but I've picked up their Honey-Nut cheerios and Chex cereals and they're good. Their oatmeal--regular and steel cut is good as well. I buy all of my baking supplies there--flour, sugar, baking soda, chocolate chips, brown sugar, confectionner's sugar, vanilla extract...all great. My kids love their kettle chips as well, although I try not to get too many snacks in general. Cheeses and lunch meat are good as are their pizzas. Like another poster said, what I buy there is too long to list here. I save a bunch of money shopping there and no one's complained about the quality. I don't usually buy meat there as I shop at the commissary for that a couple times a month, but I have bought their turkey sausage and liked it, as well as their whole chicken, and pork tenderloins. I only go to the regular grocery store for things I can't get there--which isn't much, to be honest.

Our Aldi is near our target as well. I do a loop....Target, a local grocery store, and Aldi. We buy produce there, especially now that they have been getting more organic produce. Although that means that in the summer we shop there far less because the farmers' markets are open. We eat a lot of produce here, and we eat it quickly, so if Aldi's produce is a few days further along than another store's, it doesn't matter to us. We'll eat it before it gets overripe. But it definitely lasts several days for us.

I am really looking forward to it opening. But I will wait until it has been open for a week or so before I go. The only Aldi near us is in Knoxville, which is over 100 miles away. And from past experience with other store openings here, that poor store will be mobbed with customers on it's first few days of being open.
