Am I the only one willing to admit it? DH and I watched Boy Meets World when we were newly married. My kids are watching it in reruns. We were all excited when they announced the spinoff. The first episode was really cheesy but I've enjoyed it more with each episode. They follow similar storylines, there are little things that happened on the old show and such. They've had cameos from old characters or actors. Last night's episode included a flashback. We're just really enjoying it. Mostly I like seeing how Cory and Topanga are with each other all these years later. What do you think? If you're on the fence, here are 18 reasons you should be watching.

My kids have been watching it and so I see a few minutes if it here or there, but haven't actually sat down to watch a full episode. I'll have to pay better attention next time they have it on.

My son and daughter (21 & 19 now) still watch re-runs of Boy meets world! Lol. My daughter came home for the weekend a couple of weeks ago and watched the new Girl meets world, first episode, on demand. I watched with her and we were really disappointed in it. Might have to try some more episodes.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago with my 6 year old DGD who was watching it with DS her dad. If was really neat to see them watch it together.

I saw two episodes they were ok not as good as Boy Meets World.
I like the main kid characters they are funny, except the little boy. He annoys me for some reason. If he says "I'm only these many" one more time I might throw something at my tv. I feel like the actors who play Cory and Topanga are trying to hard to be funny and I'm not laughing. We'll see if it gets better.

I'm watching it! It is a little cheesy but I'm okay with that. The best part is watching it with my 6 year old daughter every week. Nothing beats that.

DD and I have been watching it together. It is a cute show, and I love Cory and Topanga.

It's definitely getting better with each episode. and it's been picked up for a second season.
I love that this is a show parents and kids can enjoy together!

I cannot stand the classroom scenes. Seriously what teacher would run a classroom like that? Awful. But my kids are liking it

I like it a lot better than some of the other shows on the Disney channel. The father/daughter dance one had me tearing up a little. Cory handled the growing up of Riley well in that episode and it was sweet how he included Maya.

We watched the one with the dance last night. It was painful.

It's actually kind of like the classroom scenes on Boy meets World. I think that's what they were going for. It shows that Mr. Feeney was a big influence on Cory I think.

I've been meaning to watch it because I watched Boy Meets World as a kid and had such a crush on the older brother, lol.

Feeny controlled the classroom and obnoxious kids didn't come random to the front to give speeches. It's like boy meets world on Disney crack, and it was pretty awful IMO. I really wanted to like it and watch with my kids but so far no dice.

I started watching it when it began, but quickly got bored with it. I didn't feel any real connection between the characters.

Cory and Shawn were always talking out of turn in Feeney's classroom. I can't remember if they came to the front of the classroom but they were always behaving in ways that no real teacher would allow in their classroom.

Yeah, I think for me it's about how Feeney handled it. It still felt as though he was choosing to allow it. I feel like cory's character is flaky and immature and not really in control as a grown man. I just feel like the writing is poor and the characters which should be fully developed as adults are still living in the life they were living in as young college kids. I guess being about the same age I find it annoying. I don't know anyone my age with tweens who talks/acts the way they do. They are not convincing as parents, IMO.

I watch it with my son. I never watched the first show, but I saw the flashback. A few years ago I had a student named Tapangga and everyone referenced that show. I had no idea what the show was. Girl Meets World is one of my favorite Disney shows. Farkle is the one who I could live without, but my son thinks he is the funniest thing.
I want to watch the old shows!
