I have some letter sticker sheets that I just keep using; it's like I'm never going to run out of letters. Then there are some that you make one title and never seem to have the right combination of letters left to make anything else. Anyone else notice this phenomenem with your alphabets?

All the time. For me, it's usually the E and A I run out of. (E being the most commonly used letter in the English language). I've learned to creatively turn seldom used letters into the ones I need (C becomes a G or vice versa, c becomes e, L turns into E) - thank goodness for the super sharp detail scissors, tweezers, and a good black pen! But, I love letter stickers. They're so quick and easy to use.
Unfortunately, the ones I love most I can no longer find. I wish I had snatched up more when they were everywhere. Has anyone seen the Sonnets Flea Market alphas anywhere? Or, do you know of a stamp set of this alphabet?

If you Google Scrabble Word Cheats, there are several sites that come up where you can input whatever combination of letters you have and it will generate words that you can make with those letters. I find this to be a really fun challenge to make a layout/title using those words...and some are just crazy funny!

Yep, I have this problem too. I often end up cutting titles with my cricut for that reason.

If you have the Prima ink, you can change all of your letters to the same color. Just spell out your word on a slick piece of plastic and ink away. When it fired, they are all different fonts but the same color.
I do this with the Thicker letters all of the time.

i think it's a tactic to get us to buy more sets of letters, running out of Es so quickly!

Yes! It happens quite often. Luckily, I like a little bit of funky. I don't have problems using letters from other sticker sheets.

The thing I like most about letter stickers is making layouts with mismatched letters.
have a great day, dori

I have a love/hate relationship with letter stickers. I ALWAYS run out of the letters I need. I often find myself one letter short of what I wanted.
That's why I use alphabet stamps so often. An endless supply of all the J's, E's, & Z's that I need.

I love the dies of fonts. I started out with Quickutz and sank a ton of $$ into them. Then, I got the Cricut and loved it because I could make any size I want. Now, I'm back to the Quickutz because the really do go well with Project Life, which I find myself doing more than anything else. There are lots more brands out there now, and I think an investment in them is worth it over the long term.

I don't have any Prima ink, but if it doesn't work w/Staz On, I will buy Prima in black just for this purposed. Thanx for the tip!

The Prima inks are the only brand I have tried. They are kind of like paint. I guess scrapbooking paint would work too. It is a great way to use up tons of unused letters.

(Probably means they are no longer available!)

You know you've been scrapbooking too long when you intentionally choose your child's name because it has NO duplicate letters, LOL! DH's full name is relatively short, and even so would burn through most if not all of the E's and R's on a sticker sheet all by himself. One of my nieces had a kid and it's a good thing she doesn't scrapbook because her DD's full name has FIVE L's. FIVE! Seriously though, that's why I use my cutter for virtually all of my page titles and larger lettering. I never run out of letters that way. ETA: I think SRM used to have rolls of alphabet stickers sheets with four copies of one letter per sticker sheet or so. But nobody sells stickers on a roll anymore.
