I got here early for the Latest and Greatest Tools. The tool they demo'd was the new WeRMK Staple Board (pretty cool.) We also made ATC cards with a die set and mini wooden embroidery hoops (cute!) Other giveaways were AC mini punches, WRMK swivel knife set and a plastic organizer. Overall, pretty good. I took a Photoshop Elements class that was excellent, and have 2 more of those tomorrow. Wow, where have I been? What a great program for photo editing. It does so many amazing things. I'm on my way in to a Fancy Pants mini album class, then Latest and Greatest Mixed Media. Stocked up on supplies and only made it through 1/4 of the booths so far. It's a pretty good turnout, about the same as last year, I'd say Any other Peas here? PM me if you want to meet! I won't blow your cover

Any good deals to be found?? Favorite booths? I'll be there tomorrow just before the afternoon to do some shopping with my husband...not sticking around for too too long unless the shopping is exemplary.

I was there! Took 3 classes. All the make-and-takes were busy when I went by. I did do some damage. Of course Echo Park had lots of paper packs. They were $7, 4 for $20 or 10 for $40. Lots of loose paper from Simple Stories and Bella Blvd. Finally got the CutterPillar. I got the smaller one If I love it, I might get the bigger one next year (although I got the Procision about 3 months ago). I hadn't been in about 2 years so it was nice to go back and scrap at the classes. I've missed it

scrapaddict702, there are pretty much the same vendors -- lots of paper, kits, stamps, dies, washi bling. It's nice to see everything in person and all in one place, since my shopping is mostly online now. There is a paper outlet booth that has a few OA treasures. I got Midway, Witch Hazel, Cakewalk sticker sheets, Rocket Age Chipboard stickers, Woodland ephemera, Pumpkin & Party Sticky Keys, and some various ribbon sets. It's toward the front on the left side. Go there first if you want something because there is very little left. The woman in the booth said that they haven't been contacted by OA lately for any outlet stuff. I told her they had pretty much sold it all in warehouse boxes. I suspect this is the very very last of OA available. The only new booth that caught my eye was a Photoplay paper outlet, set up on tables similar to the Echo Park and Authentique outlet tables. Cute new product was some Queen & Co. Shaker sets with the matching die cuts, window, sequins. A few booths are selling the WRMK stamper from $28 - 34. Happy shopping!!

Outlet meaning older stuff for cheap? I've never been to the expo...this will be my first time going (I've only been to CKC the one year it was here...2013, I think?). I'm excited...the 3+ hour drive in the morning is going to be torture! I don't know if I'll be able to sleep well, lol. I am looking at getting the Hampton Arts one. I got the MISTI during black friday last year and love it, but it's pink, the HA one is teal...much more my speed, lol!! $25 is like a third what I paid for the MISTI, too!!

Yes, scrapaddict702, outlet as in cheap. The one paper seller with the OA is a hodgepodge of older stuff, but Echo Park and Authentique are new papers. Photoplay was 3 for $1. I've never been to CKC, so I can't compare. Most of the booths are mini scrapbook stores, focusing on certain product lines or items like stamps. There are only a few that are manufacturer's booths, such as Sizzix. Project Life has a spot, which I think is new, and Becky Higgins is doing a PL workshop. I hope you find lots of goodies.

It was nice to see that it was pretty busy! Not as busy as the old days, when you couldn't even walk down the aisles, much less look ate the booths ;P because of the large crowds.
I got there right before it opened and the line to get in was LONG-- all the way to the outside! After checking in I went straight to my classes (I had 2 back to back) so I didn't get into the expo until after 1. There were still a lot of people inside.
I hope it doesn't go away. Today I didn't stay to crop since I went by myself. But have done that in the past.
If anyone is going, have fun shopping!

I was planning on going since it's only an hour's drive but I had a sinus infection this week and just don't have the energy. Maybe I'll buy a few things on line today but it doesn't quite make up for it. I love shopping for scrappy stuff I can see and touch. Happy for those of you who do get to go. Hope you all have fun.

LOL, I always have to pay attention when booking flights. Reminds me of the guy (a long time ago, before they checked boarding passes carefully) who thought he got on the plane to Oakland, and ended up in Auckland. Hijacking my own thread here: anniefb, DD just told me she's looking at a program to study abroad in New Zealand her junior year. It will most likely be spring of 2018. It sounds so interesting. I'm excited for her.
