In my humble opinion this election keeps getting screwier by the day.
Back in the 1980's the Republican Party got dinged because it was proven that in New Jersey at certain polling places they had poll watchers some of which had guns strapped to their side and because of this they were guilty of voter intimidation of minority voters. Went all the way to the Supreme Court. Currently the RNC is under a Consent Degree that is set to expire next December. That is unless they mess around polling places especially those used by minority voters. If it is found they violated the Consent Degree it could be extended another 8 years.
Fast forward to 2016 and Trump and his plan to have people "watch" voters at certain polling places to make sure nothing suspicious is going on. The places Trump has talked about that need to be watch have a high population of minorities.
So the DNC took the RNC to court making the case what Trump wants done on Election Day will violate the Consent Degree and as such if it happens they want the current Consent Degree against the RNC extended another 8 years.
It is now is before a judge and the RNC lawyers has said that the RNC is not working with the Trump Campaign and Mike Pence didn't know what he was talking about when he said the Trump Campaign would be working "hand-in-hand" with RNC. And oh yes Kellyanne Conway was lying when she told the Washington Post the RNC is involved in "ballot-integrity".
The DNC has also gone straight at the Trump Campaign filing papers to stop the Trump Campaign from poll watching that is in violation of the voter intimidation law aka Klu Klux Klan law from the 1860 's.
And a blurb hit twitter that the DNC may have evidence their headquarters was bugged.
And Rudy Giuliani has admitted that members or a member of the FBI New York Field office has been leaking information to him/Trump Campaign. By the way he is going to be on Hardball with Chris Matthews.
