I am trying to figure out the best way to paint them to look like old tin tiles.
You can only use water base paint on styrofoam, and any metallic paint I've found that comes in larger sizes (ie: the kind I can get a quart or more of made up) are oil based.
I found small jars of metallic water based paints at the craft stores, but it'll take so many bottles of that to do an entire ceiling!
