I think like most people I like to save money when I can.
I discovered a while back that men's deodorant is cheaper than women's and you get more product. So I've picked up the most neutral scent they have and have been using that. None of my coworkers can tell the difference. Also when I need white athletic socks I'll buy them from the boys section because they are the same as the women's socks, but a couple dollars cheaper (this really only works if you wear a size women's 8.5/9 or smaller).
What other things out there do you use that are men's items that have a women's item too?

I used to use a Gillette razor and it was very sharp. My legs looked great that's for sure. I don't know why I stopped using on but found the shave I get from a Venus one good too but a lot safer. (Less nicks and cuts).

I never noticed about the AP/Deodorant, but I am going to check it out. At Target they are on different aisles, I wonder if that's so we don't notice the price difference?

I wear my husband's athletic socks sometimes, but they are too big to really fit well. I'll look in the boys' section next time I'm at Target.
I just couldn't bring myself to wear mens' deodorant on a regular basis. I've borrowed my husband's a couple of times when I ran out and I felt like I smelled like a man all day. It's funny because I don't smell it on him. Maybe other brands would work better?

I wear a lot of basic items from the men's wear. T-shirts, hoodies, sweats, knit shorts (I like that they are longer than most women's) socks.
I a largish foot for a women and wear a wide shoe. That raises the price in women's shoes but its a medium in men's and the prices aren't jacked up for being somehow special. In an athletic type of shoe or sandals it is hard to tell. I just don't get the option for pink/purple (which is fine by me)

I started wearing men's deodorant a while back when I could no longer find woman's in gel solid, which is my much preferred form. Then I noticed that it seemed to work a lot better for me as well, so I've stuck with it.

My husband gets bundled socks from Sam's - like 8-10 packs. I wear those all the time - they fit better, are warmer, and last longer than women's too. They may not be styling but I mostly wear them inside anyway.

Men's shaving gel is way cheaper.
Men's deodorant - following a tip, I tried it out and it definitely keeps me smelling nice for longer.

I recently started using an Old Spice deodorant called Foxcrest after reading about it here! Not because it's cheaper but because it is supposedly more effective! Maybe it is… hard to say for sure. It smells exactly like blue raspberry Gatorade.

DH and I share socks. They fit me well for the most part. I use his razor which are soooo much better than lady ones. I'm horrible keeping up with things I'm low on so I have ran out of deodorant before and used his.
Once DH was showering and ran out of his "man soap" aka Axe. So I told him to use my bath and body works gel or my bar of Caress bar soap...he had a fit saying he can't and won't use "lady soap" lol so he used his Axe men's shampoo lol he said it was the close to his body soap and smelled manly.

I do the same thing, I use men's razors, t-shirt, and socks. I also prefer the men lounge pants over the women's. The deodorant, on the other hand, is women's. But he doesn't mind wearing it.

T-shirts and sandals yes. I also have a wide foot and the medium sandal fits great. I mostly wear the T-shirts as at home or to sleep in

I use men's razors.
I'll wear hoodies and jackets from the men's dept because the women ones are cut too small or curvy. When going for comfort, style isn't as important.
I've always thought men's and women's deodorant were made differently.

For years, I wore socks that were actually labeled Boys/Womens. I think they were Burlington, and they were the thickest, most comfortable athletic socks ever. They sold them at Sam's Club. I wish they would bring them back - they might have them in ankle socks, but I can't stand socks on my ankles.
I also used men's Gillette razors for years, but women's razors eventually caught up in quality.

I use mens razors because I buy them in bulk from bj's and it doesn't make sense to spend the money on a pack for woman and a pack for men when they do the same thing. I couldn't care less if my razor is pink or purple.
I also wear mens winter wear like gloves, hats, socks, thermals because they are much warmer than the stuff meant for ladies. I'm stylish and everything but if I'm out sledding or shoveling snow I don't care how pretty I look. I'd rather be warm.

razors (I like the Mach 3) and shaving cream (I buy the cheap stuff - I don't like the gel).
Sweatshirts/hoodies - the sleeves are actually long enough for me unlike the women's
I used to wear men's trousers for work back when I worked - they were cheaper and more durable than the women's and it's not like I was styling in my polyester shirt (Taco Bell) or pink smock (Winn Dixie) anyway

I've never thought to look at men's AP, or to grab razors from under DH's sink. He's actually used Secret clinical strength AP for a few years, so I've just had to buy one kind and never venture into the men's AP isle. Maybe I should check it all out, though!

Men's solid unscented deodorant, tee shirts and lounge pants, tactical boots (need them sometimes for work, water resistant and last a long time and less expensive than women's same with the pants), socks, Vans and Converse.

I've bought t shirts for myself from the men's dept, but dd is the one who really despises some women's clothing. She prefers men's jackets, some shoes and t shirt designs over what she calls 'lacy' female choices.

I have used men's deodorant/antiperspirant in the past because I liked it better but right now I am back to using women's.
Men's socks are too big for me but I do wear kids. Same for shoes.
I have been known to wear men's T shirts and hoodies. They are so comfy.

I just switched to men's razors. They work better, and are cheaper. In fact, I started getting the razors from dollar shave club! So now they are way cheaper!! My husband stole mine one day and he loved it so much he now has his own subscription there too.  |
