So, I work with adults with disabilities and in general, my co-workers lean left. The atmosphere is pretty somber this morning. But my amazing friend made such a positive gesture, even though she too is greatly disappointed. She brought in a number of flowers and attached a tag to each saying things like "you are valued", "you are beautiful", "you have so much to offer". She put them in the break room with a sign saying "Take a happy flower". OMG, I read all those little notes and just broke into tears. Here is someone who "walks the walk"...who really believes we are better together and who fights divisiveness. Thought I would share.

I have a friend who went to her kids school took down all the signs and replace them with signs she made that had messages of hope.
She lives in an area with a lot of immigrants.
