I watched it without sound. I am not a Hillary supporter (Trump either), but I could see how much toll this has taken on her. Just watching her face you could see she was devastated and was struggling to keep it together. I also saw Bill's face in the background, the love and respect on his face is shining bright.
I ask that Hillary supporters please look to her as a guide on how to move forward, follow her lead, in many ways she is an amazing woman, and amazing person.

It seemed like a heartfelt speech, but, why did she wait so long to give it? It would have held more credence with me if she had given it in the middle of the night when he was declared the winner and not several hours later.

I cried I cannot understand how she kept it together & remained so classy/eloquent. Her words to little girls & about not always being successful were awesome! America has missed out on the opportunity for her to guide us through some positive changes. She would have been a great leader.

I really don't think she had a concession speech prepared. She was as shocked as everyone else when she lost and needed time to prepare.

This was a wonderful speech. It's the first time I've seen her speak where she wasn't screeching and where she actually seems human. I am grateful to her for such hopeful words.

I really don't think she had a concession speech prepared. She was as shocked as everyone else when she lost and needed time to prepare. It was mentioned several times in the coverage last night that - being superstitious - she had two speeches prepared. One if she won, another if she didn't. I think she simply needed the time to absorb the shock of it and I agree that her speech was amazing. If she had come across like that during the campaign, I do believe she could very well have won. I'll admit, I was irritated on behalf of my friends who supported Hillary that she didn't address them last night. But the gracious words that she spoke today did a great deal to soothe them, and by extension, me. As disappointed as she must be, I can't help but think her body and voice will be grateful for a chance to rest now. I can't even fathom the stress this campaign has brought on her. I hope she takes a long, relaxing vacation and spends some time spoiling those grandkids rotten over the next few months!

Both my husband & I cried. Actually, I bawled through it. It was a beautiful and empowering speech.

I'm not even American and I just cried watching . What a missed opportunity . Such a dignified speech. Agree wholeheartedly.
