Wow!!!! I was mesmerized! Clive Owen stars. Takes place in 1900 at Knickerbocker Hospital in NY. Fascinating show, so authentic, costumes, sets! It's pretty graphic in some scenes showing surgery, but still so interesting. They didn't even wear gloves or masks during surgery.
I'm amazed anyone lived into the 21st century! The hygiene was just horrible!!
Hope someone watched so they can give their opinion!! A zillion thumbs up!!!!!
If you like period drama and medicine, you will love this!

I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. I loved historical dramas. I love seeing the period sets and costumes. Thinking to myself how that really wasn't that long ago and look how everything in New York looked with the horses and carriages! What it must have been like living during those times and what would it be like if time travel were possible? Would I go back to that time?
The medical part-OMG! I'm thrilled to be living in this century knowing what we now know about medicine, and the advances we made, although when Clive Owen gave that speech "we've made more advances in the last 5 years than we have in the last 100 years" or something like that it was quite amazing!
I love Clive Owen as an actor. He is quite amazing.

I too saw it. Loved the costumes, the sets - all were done so well.
It is graphic and not for the squeamish (unless you look away). Clive Owen is awesome - great acting.
Can't wait to see where this series goes with the story lines!
