I only like watching sb hauls where the person is well prepared, and does not over-describe. Please do not give me stories with every single item. I don't need to know the individual name of every single thing in a product line, and I don't need a 5-10 minute story before showing the haul. And....we are not best friends, I do not need an elaborate description of what you did today and the day before. Needless to say I fast-forward on a lot of YT hauls. That's why I rarely watch most scrapbook youtube videos. I don't want to take 20 minutes to see how you made a page. I don't want to hear about the fabulous new product line that was released and the long explanation of each one. If there's a tutorial where I want to learn a specific technique, then I might watch.

I love to watch haul videos... I don't watch them all the time, but every once in a while I will binge watch. If it takes to long to actually get into the haul, I'll move on to the next one.
I remember seeing one video a while back and I felt so sorry for this lady. She was a hoarder of scrap supplies. Mind you, her house wasn't a mess (that I could tell), but she had so much stuff in her scrap room that she could barely move around. I don't think she actually did any scrapping in there because there just was no room. She had multiples of everything. I actually tried finding it recently but can't seem to find the video. I believe there was a thread about her room on Two Peas at one time.

I've watched a handful of them. Often the thing that I'm interested in is shown in a brief glance and other items are flipped this way and that with every detail discussed. I guess when they do that it's easy to see what they like the best.
I really like the warehouse hauls. I love a good bargain.

There used to be a MB I participated in a few years ago where people would list the scrappy goodies they purchased that week, some included pictures, most did not. I liked the format, it was easy to glance at and they would also share any special deals they stumbled upon as well. I don't mind the haul videos but it's not my thing.

Oh my, I just started to watch a haul video and stopped because she was showing the ADHESIVE she had purchased... please don't show me stock items like cardstock (except maybe an exceptionally good deal on a package, but then please don't go thru the colours!) or basics like trimmer blades and glue...

I looooove watching haul videos But I do hate hearing every last detail about the shopping trip or crinkling of paper. There are some ladies I love to watch and don't mind hearing chit chat from.

I remember that one. When she started getting called a hoarder, someone came on (not a regular Pea, either) and went crazy. Not just defending her, but calling names & swearing at those who had posted. Soon after, the haul video was taken down. I did get to watch it and you're right - she had way more stuff than she could ever use. It actually looked a little dangerous in her room.

Sometimes I can watch and some I just can't. I don't like when they take forever to describe something. I usually feel better about the amount of supplies I have after watching though. I'm always amazed when people comment about having to have every color of whatever, and in the next breath they comment that they haven't used any of it.

Wow, that letter is seriously 'effed up. It sounds like some of the emails I've gotten, but never a letter in my actual box. That's super creepy this person knows where she lives. She mentions she knows who it is too. So sad.

I was so sad when I saw that video yesterday! I love her vlogs, hauls, and what not. What a horrible person to write that to her--I'm sorry it made her feel unsafe, too. People just have no respect and no qualms about crossing the line!

That is the only haul I ever watched, on account of that thread because I was curious after people's descriptions of the clutter. Omg, did that video stress me out! I'm sure not all SB haulers are hoarding quite like that, but I couldn't bear to go back for more after that.

Most have quite a stash, but not to the point where you can't move. If you haven't already, check out the video I linked earlier in this thread - she's a hoot!

I admit I watch a few haul videos, but why do they do that? Are they making money on the haul video or just making me jealous because they got the newest items first?

omg, that's the funniest thing ever! "Shopping is good, scrapping is great, and when you put them both together it is a beautiful thing!" "Put your hand on your ATG gun and raise your bottle of tacky glue and repeat after me: I am Linda, and I am a scrapaholic!" I'm dying.

Wow! How mean! I can't even comprehend what would compel a person to send a letter like that.
