So because this person had a photo op with her back in high school, this must be staged? I've run into multiple celebrities more than once where I live. ETA: that pic was taken at a fundraiser hosted by the gals mother when she was in high school. Hillary Clinton was the guest of honor. Doesn't mean they are friends who have kept in contact enough to "stage" a photo op. Believe what you want. Hillary can barely walk up a flight of steps, and we're supposed to accept that she's out "hiking" with her dog? Exactly, believe what YOU want you want to "newbie." I don't care if it was staged or not. Glad to see her out in public and not locked up in a glass house.

That would be a stunning surprise! During the last week leading up to the election, I thought Hillary seemed so genuinely happy. The results must be very hard for her. It would be wonderful if she can rally and work with this administration somehow. I don't know if that's possible, but it's something I would like to see. Wait, you think Hillary could actually work with Trump? That Trump would work WITH her? How could that work? Today my facebook page (Indiana girl - so big Red state) is equal posts of excitement of a Trump presidency, and excitement over "Killary" rotting in prison. This very article about the woman meeting Hillary on a hike was posted on a local news sites facebook page. The comments are filled with hate...it's not seen as nice, it's not seen as "oh, she seems happy - look - leggings!" It's seen as an outrage that she hasn't been locked up yet. The hatred of Hillary Clinton is deep. I sure hope people are right about it - that she's this monstrous person that is worthy of such venom. Otherwise I picture this really awkward session before getting into the Pearly Gates "Hey, you were wrong about Hillary Clinton - she's actually a decent human who dedicated her life to service and didn't deserve the crap you threw her way." I just see no way possible that they can come together. Trump would completely lose his base, they are counting on the fact that he hates her just as much as they do. And many of them seriously will not be happy if she's not in prison.

Listen, I can't stand HRC and hope she ends up in jail (don't let that fool you into thinking I'm all loving Trump). BUT, I just don't see what she would stand to gain by having her picture taken out walking her dog. Like, she wants to show the world she's ok? Even if it was fake, how is that such a bad thing. "Hey guys, I'm doing alright. See, I'm out walking my dog not caring."
Like any celebrity, I imagine people ask her for photos all the time. If I ran into Chris Meloni at target, I sure as hell would ask for a photo and interrupt his shopping trip. Basically the same thing.

That story came up on my FB feed this morning. Pretty cool!
(Come to think of it, it was probably a Pea/FB friend who'd liked it which is how I saw it.)

And many of them seriously will not be happy if she's not in prison. Can they work together? I don't know. I've seen stranger things in my life, so I don't summarily rule it out. It would have to be on something that either they both agreed on, OR something where she could play Devil's Advocate to find things wrong with any new policies. There is great strength in two strong opponents coming together to work for the common good. As I said, I don't know how practical it is, but hope isn't always based on the practical. There is far more diversity in the people who voted for Trump than has been credited. There are people currently serving time in jail for relatively inconsequential offenses compared to Secretary Clinton. The ideal of equal justice under the law has taken a heavy blow. I believe that further investigation of her and her foundation will continue. Whether this leads to a sentence for Hillary or not, I couldn't say. I agreed with President Ford when he pardoned President Nixon for the sake of the country. I'm 92% sure I'd agree with a pardon for Clinton on the same grounds. The public humiliation would be a heavy enough punishment for a huge majority of the country, whether they supported Trump or not. Those who seriously want to see her serve jail time are in the minority. The grief it would create is just too high for anything but the highest finding of treason, which I have no reason to believe is the case. I'm a pretty easy-going, pragmatic person. I prefer conflicts to be resolved and not escalated. And.... throughout my life, I have constantly seen things from a perspective other's don't seem to share. I'm not surprised when people think my ideas come from out of the blue. Maybe they do.

Dude.
After "Build that Wall", "Lock her Up" was the most common battle cry at Trump Rallies.
I know several men who proudly wear their "TRUMP THAT BITCH" shirt.
I think you're underestimating the amount of people who want her in prison & expect Trump to follow through on that.
Maybe I see a different segment of the population being from a very red county in a very red state.
But if Trump reaches out any sort of olive branch to Hillary, people will lose their shit, and Trump will lose next time around. As much as I'd like to think Trump is an idiot, he knows that jumping on the Hillary = Evil train is what got him the oval office.
Right now to please his base that I interact with, he needs to get going on a big ass wall & round up illegal immigrants, put Hillary in prison, and somehow roll insurance rates back to the mid 90s.
He's got his work cut out for him.

I live in a very red area of New York. I work (in my retirement--part time) for a newspaper. A couple days ago I tallied up the votes for each town in our area and Trump won in every single town by massive margins. And I have NEVER heard anyone say what you are hearing Mom2ja2. People here talk tax reform, immigration reform and a strong military. I attend town board meetings where a lot of this is discussed and I have never heard anyone seriously want Hillary locked up. Most think she did break the law, but they don't seriously want her in jail. What I hear is reforming health care and cutting back on big government. I think some of you are just repeating the most wild-eyed commentary that you see on FB. And that can cut both ways, you know.

He's got his work cut out for him. Maybe. Maybe not. Investigations into the emails needs to continue because what the public has been told and left with is disturbing. Equal justice under the law does not have the same meaning today that it did before we became aware of this debacle. During the election, just before early voting began, Kristian Saucier reported to jail for taking 6 photos on his cell phone of where he worked on a nuclear submarine. Cell phones were not banned when he took those photos. Other sailors took photos and were then later fined something like $500. If I remember the story correctly, Saucier lost his phone and got in trouble over the photos when the phone resurfaced. Hillary said she took full responsibility for her unsecured servers, but the reality is that she has not and the public knows it. The chants and t-shirts to lock her up are American citizens peacefully protesting this lack of accountability from one of our top political leaders. People want to know what happened without all the excuses and spin we've heard throughout the campaign. Unquestionably, Trump will need to start on day 1 to begin implementing the positive changes that he ran on. Criminal illegal aliens are a threat to all regardless of political affiliation. Health care costs are crippling families and Obamacare regulations are stifling small businesses. Not to forget breathing new life into our military while finally giving the help to our veterans that they so bravely earned. His list is long and difficult. He has the energy and the support to begin the process as soon as he is sworn in. If the Hillary investigation(s) are able to become more transparent at the same time, our country will begin to heal many wounds. All that said, at this point I still believe that the majority of citizens don't actually want to see her in jail even though they want her held accountable. It's an odd dichotomy. I know I'm ready for peace between the two major parties so I'm certain that my hopes and feelings at this moment in time are colored by that desire. I guess we'll all find out soon enough. /sidetrack Again, I really like the photo and thank you for posting it, snowsilver.

Wild eyed commentary?
You doubt my experience simply because it's not your own?
We have to listen to one another, not dismiss each other's experiences simply because they are not what we have experienced. That cuts both ways too.
I'm not going to engage in this.
The photo was nice.
Have a pleasant weekend.

This is precisely the attitude and obsessive kind of hate that I and so many others will no longer tolerate without speaking out. In fact, behavior like yours is exactly what is pushing me to become even more vocal and active against such unwarranted and unnecessary hate. Say anything you want. But I would caution you to choose your words carefully, because with your current words and behavior, you are actually pushing people to fight harder for even more of their rights and freedoms. Your response was great! thank you Save

love the picture and the story and don't buy the "staged" silliness
also i'm a native central texan and current upstate NYer and i know the hate and vitrol against hillary voters, liberals, gays, anyone brown, etc... is VERY viscous on my fb feed... #trumpthatbitch is a very common hashtag among people i know - so the dismissal of that type of experience is not helpful or accurate
