Oh, they're still around.
I'm weary of all the bizarre baby photos. Why do you have your baby in a suitcase? Is he going somewhere?

I don't think horse and senior photos are strange. I do think standing on a random horse in a formal dress is.
I like some sun flair. I like some chair/couch in the woods photos. Train tracks and weird baby photos, meh.

Count me among the group of people who don't get it at all. Maybe the girl on the horse is a circus performance and wants to represent her job in her senior photos or so. I don't understand the concept. I suppose if that's what someone wants and is willing to pay for them then that's up to them. It isn't like any photo I've ever taken and I agree with the others who think it is probably a Photoshop job (and not particularly done well). I think we are seeing a lot of unusual photographic compositions these days because practically everyone is a "photographer", Photoshop allows for some very unreal manipulations, and you have to do something unusual to stand out. Personally I like some of the unusual or striking ideas I see but when they are unsafe or very strange I just shake my head and hope nobody gets hurt or hates their photos 20 years down the road.

I meant to say a circus performer, not circus performance in the post above.

Whoa, back up there. Someone paid $1,000 for that shot? That's even stranger than the pose, I agree.

I know this girl. She is not a trick rider. She doesn't even own a horse. I think this is the best part!

She looks like someone with no head for heights standing on a ladder behind the horse, and a very poor attempt to photoshop the 'join' has failed miserably.

Not sure if it's photoshopped or not, but this particular photo was posted by a "pro" on Facebook and lots of people commented and wanted to know if they could "hire" this horse for their own shoots with her. The "pro" is one of those stay-at-home-Moms whose DH bought her an expensive camera so now she thinks she is a "pro" and can justify her SAHM-ness by making a few bucks doing photoshoots. She charged $1000 for this particular shoot. I think that is the real travesty here. One - If it isn't photoshopped, whoa would that be a dangerous photo to try to. What if you fell off the damn horse?! Two - If it is photoshopped, why bother? It's just so odd. Three - Who the hell would pay $1000 for that particular shoot?

Unless you were in a circus or rodeo I don't know why you'd want to stand on top of a horse. I can't say I like the look.

It's weird. Why have a horse in your senior photo shoot if you don't ride or own a horse? Why have a horse there if you are only going to use it as a stool? it's a living creature, interact with it.
I've seen a lot of girl with a horse photos and that one is just strange.
Also, I would still be a MWAC if people had been willing to pay me $1000 for a senior photo shoot. That's what people charge for weddings around here. Crazy.
