Us. We spent a beautiful day out, lunching, strolling around one of the California missions, shopping, then picking up some super yummy BBQ on the way home. Now we are just relaxing after dinner, watching tv and hanging out with our dogs.

Me!!! Actually this is a pretty typical Saturday night. Gin and tonic (I don't drink during the week) and 48 hours. The show. I'm so annoyed that the husband on tonight's Dateline was found not guilty.

jenjie my surgeon called me Friday to tell me my nodes were clear, yay! I meet again with my oncologist on Monday, to see what the plan is for chemo. Got my second set of drains out last Friday, ahead of schedule, and my first saline fill on the implants happens Tuesday. Very busy week coming up. Actually not sure when I'll be going back to work but they said to take as much time as I need, so no pressure, which is great. Except I'm totally bored and don't start classes again until January. I really should start scrapping again or something!

I am and it's awesome. We moved just over a month ago and between that and kid stuff it's been busy. But we all got home today about 1 with nothing else on the calendar. We watched some sports, I got a catnap on the couch with my sweaty baby laying on me, we ate leftovers, and it's been nice to veg. We had friends over last night so all my cleaning was already done. I might take a hot bath.

Enforced boredom while I heal from surgery. I went for a walk today, only about a mile and a half, but it was much needed. Still, I can't do much with my arms and it's very very boring! I'm getting sick of TV and the internet and books. I wish I was camping or something. Recovery is boring, isn't it? I keep wanting to DO something. A mile and half walk though--that's great! I wish you a speedy recovery.

I spent a fun and relaxing day at a crop and had planned to be home and in my pajamas on the couch by 9:00 PM. Unfortunately when I got home I at 8:30 went to pick up a package from my front porch, missed the bottom step coming down, wrenched my ankle and landed on the concrete walkway Several hours later, after a trip to prompt care, I'm finally on the couch with in ice pack on my ankle; wondering if I should attempt to make my way upstairs so that I can sleep with my CPAP machine, or if I should just try to sleep on the couch tonight.

950nancy ---I LOVE your word **lethargarian** May I borrow it? ~KellyAnn~ ---aww, I hope you can give yourself a break and try NOT to feel guilty! A broken shoulder !?! OUCH! chendra ---hope your healing is PAIN-FREE !!! Zee ---Wow, great news! And, although I totalllly understand how boring recovery can be---kudos to you for that nice walk! I'll bet it felt GREAT after being so bored, eh? I'm so happy to tell you that a very close friend of mine is now a six-year SURVIVOR !!! She's on oral chemo for several more years, which has some icky side effects; however, she's so grateful to be alive and well! cindosha --**FIVE** thirteen-year-old girls..... Although I would really enjoy their chatter, laughter, etc for a while, I'd probbably need headphones after a while! (Unless the man cave you're hiding in is sound-proof!) supersoda ---Aww, your poor DD! I've heard that kidney stones are absolutely excruciating!!! I hope her pain is GONE by now! paperaddictedpea ---aww, I hope it's not TOO painful! Don't forget to also elevate AND compress along with your ice! Delta Dawn ----wow, sorry about your THREE UTIs! You're probably SO tired of people asking you this---but are you taking probiotics / yogurt with live cultures to avoid a superinfection (yeast) from taking antibiotics? Cranberry juice? Pyridium (in case you're not familiar, Pyridium is a WONDERFUL medication that gets rid of the PAIN of the UTI; but it does turn your urine a verrry BRIGHT orange color). I'm ALMOST positive that a prescription is no longer required in the U.S. and you can get it OTC; however, that may not be true in Canada? I'm on FORCED laziness because of medical crap too, and I USED to feel verrrry guilty, but for the most part, I accept it now. Sometimes I'll get sooo tired of being sedentary, I'll start doing lots of cleaning, mopping, laundry, cooking and/or baking all within a few hours--(I know better than to do that, so it's my own fault !!!!), and then I "pay" for it the next day or two

950nancy ---I LOVE your word **lethargarian** Zee ---Wow, great news! It seems like just yesterday, you were diagnosed, and now, here you are recovering. I'm pretty sure it was your post that asked for peAples' stories? I was so happy to tell you that a very close friend of mine is now a six-year SURVIVOR !!! Delta Dawn ----wow, so may UTIs! Yes, I am eating probiotic yoghurt now and it's tasting ok which is good. I try to have 2 little containers a day of it. It and Diflucan are clearing up my mouth which is good. My tongue was white and hurt. I drink about a litre of cranberry juice a day and I have Pyridium but I don't have any pain just my tongue hurts. I took it for the previous UTI, though. I am so embarrassed about it. I can't do anything for too long without having to pee often. (This is a chronic problem I have had since birth) but just got bad the past month!
