I was one of the few I guess that took a chance and placed a final order after they announced the site closing and the sale. I had a bunch of stuff in my bucket anyway, and just decided to pay the shipping. I just received the box and everything was in perfect order, no problems. Kind of a bitter-sweet experience, as I had been a long-time shopper at 2Ps since there are no longer any LSS in my area and I gained so much from the content and inspiration that 2Ps provided. I hadn't shopped there much recently because shipping costs had gone up so high. I got some good deals, even with the shipping costs, but am sad to see my last 2Ps order  |

That was some pretty fast turn around. From what I remember they were always really slow shopping.

I received my last order that I placed just days before the announcement. It was just a few of their flair badges that I needed for DD's graduation layouts. It occurred to me that the little handful of metal circles was a very anticlimactic way to end an era of shopping.  Has anyone else seen the TwoPeas etsy shop? It's under the LLC name they used when Jeffrey and Kristina bought back the site: ItsLikeThisLLC. I guess that's why their exclusive products weren't discounted in the sale. |

Wow, that is really interesting that they moved their exclusives to Etsy. Wonder if they will keep adding new stuff or if this was a temporary move just to get rid of the rest of their own inventory when the store shuts down. Hmmmm....

I'd like to pick up some wood veneers and flair I'd had my eye on. I put it in my bucket and it was $5.82 to ship it. The exact same order from Etsy is $2.20 to ship. Like someone said, I guess it makes sense why that stuff isn't discounted. |

I didn't have time to shop the night of the announcement and the next morning, just about everything in my cart was sold out so I decided to pass on a last order. The deals were not that good anyway.

Wow. I'm amazed at the fast shipping. I only ordered from 2Peas twice over all the years I hung out there, and each time it took forever to receive the orders.

I think the timing of the Etsy shop is interesting, too. It just shows advance planning for closing the site. Not a surprise really, I'm sure they've been planning to close for awhile, clearly there have been major financial issues since before the beginning of the year...I still think it would have been nice if they had given notice for people on the message boards to say goodbye and regroup. Did they *have* to do that, no of course not, I am sure they had their reasons for shutting down abruptly. But it would have been nice...

I ordered Shimelle's stamp set a couple of days ago. It says it won't ship until July 21st, so their orders must have increased with the sale going on. On the plus side, shipping was only $1.40. |

I took a chance and made one last order, mainly because I wanted some exclusives and now I see that I didn't have to go through them. Mine isn't even scheduled to be pulled until 7/11.
