When was Two Peas established? How did you get there?
I was trying to figure out how long I've been a "Pea". I know I've been scrapbooking for about 20 years. My original Pea number was under 100, then the website crashed or changed servers or something...and I had to re-register, so I ended up with a higher Pea number and a new user name.
Back when I started out scrapbooking, I lurked and/or participated at... AOL Scrapbook message board Jangle DMarie And I think it was called Graceful Bee?, or something like that?
I think it was a post on the AOL board, that lead me to the "new/just starting" Two Peas.

I think it began in 1999, and I am sure I heard about it at the Scrapbook Addict messsage board. People were excited to have a big new online store. I posted at dMarie and Graceful Bee (wow, had totally forgotten about that one!) as well as a few others over the years. I lost my early Peas number, too.
I started scrapbooking in Feb. 1998. Sheesh, how time flies.

I was the first person to register at 2peas. My number was 4. Kristina sent me a package of letter stickers as a prize for being first. 😊 We were regulars in the chat room at Jangle (Accucut's then message board and chat room). We met almost daily at a certain time. One day she mentioned she was starting a new site. I guess I was just the first to actually click on the URL and register. That was Feb 1999.

I started scrapbooking way back in 1998 also. I don't remember where I heard about 2 Peas but they were offering free shipping on orders over $25. I came to look at their store and kind of got hooked on the message board. Kristina was a frequent poster back then. Does anyone remember the Dr. Pepper board? I joined up right away but took a long time to get the courage to post.

Scrapbook Addict {waves to Mystie) was my very first online message board experience. From them I heard about dMarie, Jangle (I'd forgotten about that one), and then Two Peas. I lurked on Two Peas for years. Then Scrapbook Addict folded -- or maybe that was when they changed the format? I can't remember exactly but it was never the same after that -- and I went to dMarie mostly. Then they closed and Two Peas became my only board. At first I was scared to register and participate because...well let's just say that Scrapbook Addict was never as "exciting" as Two Peas was from time to time. But then one day I just decided I wanted to so I made and account.

As mentioned, it started in 1999. I joined June 25, 2003 after googling "Disney Scrapbook Pages" to get some ideas to scrap my latest trip - the Google search lead me to the gallery (I started scrapping in 1996).

I can't remember when I joined 2 Peas. I guess it was early 2000s. I remember that the first message board I ever joined was dMarie, then Scrapjazz, then somehow I stumbled upon the Peas.

I started at 2peas in the Spring/early summer of 2004, when I was pregnant with my second child. I had been dabbling in the thought of scrapbooking, Googled because I needed more information, and found 2peas. Never left.

I've never been a scrapbooker but I've always made cards. I stumbled across Two Peas one day about 2002 when I was doing a search on some Basic Grey paper. I mostly lurked in those days. I just happened to click over to NSBR one day and arrived in the middle of a shit storm. Talk about shock and awe! I've been here since.

I think it must have been in 2000 after my husband died and I wanted to start scrapbooking. I had no clue what to do and so googled it. I do remember getting all excited about a huge box of card stock that first year.

I started scrapbooking at the beginning of 2000 and I think one of our instructors at our LSS mentioned it. I only went on to look at the gallery and pea soup- downloaded so many quotes, titles and full page black and white pages of layouts. Only recently came across a whole pile and threw them out! I ventured onto the NSBR site one day but never posted. I have a great memory and can recall most of the drama and entertainment that used to happen there! I started to tentatively post and had probably posted/replied about 20 times before 2peas shut down. It took me a few days to find this site and I resolved then and there to post more. Put up an avatar, share photos, comment and even start threads on both Scrapbooking and NSBR boards. I still read a lot more than I post but I'm improving! Corinne

I can't remember when I arrived, but i'm guessing since some of you are jogging my memory that I must have heard about it from DMarie or maybe CKMB.

I found the site through a scrap booking magazine. Looked at it for a day or two and then joined. Back then, I think I hung out mostly on the scrapbooking board and ventured over to the NSBR

I don't scrapbook, but have always made cards. I sometimes make/sell them and years and years ago I was making some for a friend and the local scrapbook store only had two sheets of the perfect paper and suggests I check two peas to see if they had it. They did, but that was when I saw the message board.
I was a lurker for years, like over a decade, but it was just not the right time in my life to get involved I guess. I registered toward the end to ask a question and participated in a few threads but right after that they closed.
I found this site and I guess the timing was right this time. Now y'all can't shut me up. lol

I found 2Peas via Google, I think, when I first started scrapbooking in April 2002. I lurked mostly - had only about 500 posts when the board closed.

I found 2Peas through an ad in Creating Keepsakes. I lurked for quite a while before signing up but even then my membership number was in the 100s.
I actually signed up at dMarie and tried to join in a conversation and one of the regulars attacked me about my username. It was vague and she explained that nobody would interact with me if my real name wasn't in the username somewhere. She pointed it out on the thread and also personal messaged or emailed me about it. I was mortified! Needless to say that was my only post there. Then I became a pea. Ahahahahaa!!

LOL I started scrapping in 2000, after my wedding.

I assume I joined in 2001. At least that's what I think. I was bored at work in a new town with no friends so I was looking for conversation. I scrapped a lot then. I stopped scrapping a few years ago when the bottom fell out of the industry. It's only been since the wedding that I've started up again and remembered why I liked it so much. I hope to continue. I miss scrapbook stores... Michaels is fine, I can get what I need, but actual stores were so much better.

I'm older than most of you and I've "Scrapbooked" In one form or another since I was little. My mom and grandmother scrapbooked also, so that's where I learned to do it.
I was also a member of CKMB and if I remember right, that's where I found out about Two Peas. The late night crowd would talk about it, but a few members would make me feel like a traitor for "going to another board". Pretty silly now.
I joined in late fall 1999, but didn't post much. There was I big brouhaha about pit bill dogs one year. I stated an opinion that disagreed with a very very "popular pea" and got majorly attacked by her groupies. Oh my, the P-mails I received. Some of those ladies were no ladies, I had them delete my account. I came back a few years later because of the photography board (with a different user name) and mostly posted there until it imploded.
Now love spending time on the scrapbooking/card making boards. I post of this board, but on the fun or supportive posts only. This board is what you make it. For me I want it to be a nice diversion, not stressful and an aggravating.
I do appreciate our Admin for everything she does.

I read an ad in Creating Keepsakes and joined in 2000. That was about the same time I linked to a local crop through their "finder." Two of those ladies were also peas and we all participated in the swaps together.

I saw an ad for free shipping with a $25 purchase. I never bought anything, but I found NSBR and have been along for the ride ever since. I think I joined in 2004.

I was heavily into scrapbooking in the early 2000's ... I found 2Peas through an ad in Creating Keepsakes I lurked for quite awhile and then I discovered the NSBR board Kelly and the Big Brother thread was a big reason for me getting involved ... I still miss her ... I wonder why she never made her way over here

Spring of 2007, I was on bed rest with my first and bored to tears. I have been scrapbooking since college, was a SU demonstrator, and I'm sure heard of 2 Peas through SplitCoastStampers.
I looked around, but the NSBR hooked me. I lurked for a good year? Love it!

I originally joined in 1999 after finding the site during my obsessive SB supply buying period. I have never posted much and have had gaps of coming to the site where I forgot my user name and login and had to sign-up again so I don't recall my original number.

Back in 2003, a friend and I opened up our own scrapbook store. I joined 2Peas under our store name "2Gals" (2 Gals Scrappin') in the hopes of getting word out about the business.
I stayed for the fun of NSBR - even after the store closed in 2005.

I started scrapbooking in 1999 when my first son was born. I started buying magazines a couple years later and kept seeing 2peas referenced. I originally went to the site for fonts, then discovered the message boards. I registered in 2002, I can't believe it's been 14 years!

In 1998 or 1999, I saw a scrapbook kit on QVC and ordered it. It had a Creating Keepsakes magazine and mentioned websites. I went to the Scrapbookaddict website and 2Peas was mentioned on it. I was a regular on Scrapbookaddict for a long time before getting into 2Peas.
