I'm having a few girlfriends over Saturday night and would like to serve a new/tasty alcoholic drink? Any suggestions?

The tipsy bartender is good too for ideas.
I know my friends are all over the place with what they like to drink. Although I think we all agree that margaritas are always good.

I just posted about this new drink I discovered a few days ago. It's: 8oz Apple Cider and 2oz of Carmel vodka (I use Smirnoff brand) simple and so good!

LEMONADE 6 lemons, sliced (not wedges) 6 cups water 3/4 cup of sugar 1 vanilla bean Put the lemons, the water, the sugar, and the vanilla bean into a roasting pan. Roast at 375 for 45 minutes. Let cool. Strain and reserve the lemonade. THE BEET! There are two ways to go about incorporating this beet. Either buy a beet, roast it, and puree it in a Vitamix, or just go to your supermarket or juice store and get some beet juice. It’s fine either way, it all just depends on how committed you want to be. TO SERVE 1/2 ounce beet juice 1.75 ounce roasted lemonade 2 ounces bourbon 7 Up Soda Water Pour that over ice, the add a splash (just a splash) of 7-Up.Fill the rest of the glass to the rim with soda water. Sit back, relax, and have a drink. You’ve earned it.
Leave out the 7up and soda if you want to serve it warm.

I once ordered a moonshine-bloody Mary at a restaurant and it was so thick and disgusting. I was still thinking about this thread and most of my go to drinks are more on the summery side: Moscow mules, lemon drops, Malibu rum with anything.

How about Tipsy Palmers? It's an Arnold Palmer (normally 1/2 iced tea and 1/2 lemonade) with bourbon added.
Or Cosmopolitans? You can do all kinds of flavor combinations with those.

If you are still open to suggestions, Moscow Mules are my favorite drink right now.
1/2 a lime, 2 oz vodka, 4-6 oz ginger beer in a tall glass with a few ice cubes
you can make a cranberry version substituting cranberry juice or syrup for the lime
