Dh got a new job with Chrysler and now needs to get a Chrysler car. We went to the dealer and he will be leasing a dodge dart. It's a really sporty looking car and we got a great deal on it. The incentives are great and with his employee discount it's under $240.00 a month.
We have never driven Chrysler cars before. Always had GM autos but dh is currently driving a mercury milan. I'm driving a bare bones Chevy uplander and have been for 3 years. I have my sights set on a town and country and have been scouring the dealer for a nice used one to buy. We can lease 2 cars with the employee discount but we are still going back and forth on leasing v. buying that one. DS will get DH's milan so we know he will be set in a car that hopefully will keep him safe.
We are really excited!!
Oh, and a really interesting fact......Chrysler headquarters in auburn hills mi where dh will be working is the largest office complex in the United States next to the Pentagon. It houses 14,500 employees. And dh says, not near enough bathrooms!!!!

I can imagine just how excited you must be!! My DD picks up her new car tomorrow morning and can't wait!  Thanks for the neat bit of info' about Chrysler, I'm going to file it away ready for use sometime! Love your DH's remarks about bathrooms in the complex!  Enjoy your new car. |

Congratulations on the new job. I've had a Town and Country for 6 years now. It is very roomy. You will love it for travelling.

My buddy has the Dart. I wanted one. Then I drove it an decided it wasn't the right car for my lifestyle (3 dogs). It's an awesome car and he will have fun driving it.
I might suggest taking it out yourself. on a road with no cops. and open it up. But I will not admit to that in open court. LOL

I have a 2011 Town & Country; I feel so fancy driving it! My favorite feature (if it is on the one you might get) is the hard drive that stores your music. I've loaded all my CD's into it and now don't have to keep the CD's in the car. Then I can listen to all 1500 of my songs on shuffle.
By the way, I used to have a friend from Grand Blanc; her family worked for Ford. She took me to the Buick Open one year.
