Siri understands me perfectly!! I voice text, voice email, and voice post all the time!! Me too for the most part, but it wasn't always that way. The more I use Siri, the better she gets at knowing what I'm saying. It took quite a while for her to understand that when I say Erin, it's not Aaron.

DH does all the time, especially when in the car so he doesn't have to pick up the phone with blue tooth. Me I don't use it all, but I do text more than I call but not driving.

I'm too cranky to use it. I find when DS or DH use it that they talk quite slow for it to keep up. Also, don't you have to then verbally add punction? I want some tea (period). That gets annoying to this old lady. I agree. I feel it's easier to type my message and use punctuation as I go than it is to go back and move the cursor to the places I want to add commas or periods.

That gets annoying to this old lady. I once was returning a bunch of texts using text to talk, and then I followed up a phone call. The person didn't answer so I left a message. I realized after I finished that I had verbally added all punctuation to my voicemail. lol. It made me giggle. Oops.?

I love it, but my husband says I need speech to text therapy as it doesn't often get what I am trying to say the first time. Most of the time I send them anyway and then follow up with another text where I didn't talk at my normal speed, but like a normal person. It is so much easier than typing for me.

I love voice texting. Do it all the time and have good luck with it being accurate.

If you're using your iPad or iPhone you can use the same feature to post a message here. In fact I just used it on this post. I only have an older iPad 2 and I can't see how to use the talk to text on here. Am I out of luck? To answer the question - I LOVE talk to text, but I always always have to check it before sending! Do you have a small microphone symbol just to the left of your space bar ? If so, press that and say your message, then press done

Yes! I love it. Now that I have figured out how NOT to have a huge run on sentence by saying "period" and "question mark" it's even better.

Love it. Texts, emails, notes, reminders, internet searches, and POSTS HERE, including this one.
I have become annoyingly adept at speaking in punctuation, and sometimes automatically revert to it when I ask one of my kids to text somebody. ("Text Dad and tell him yes comma we will meet you at cap hong cap kong cap delight period be there in ten minutes exclamation mark")

When DH first got his iPhone 5, DS had great fun playing with Siri, and changing DH's name to silly things. Once DH opened up Siri in a meeting to have her say "Yes, Madamoiselle Pancake, how can I help you?" The best though was when DS wanted Siri to say "Clifford the big black Goth". (DH is called Cliff and he was a Goth when I first met him, so this is a nickname that has been around a while.). Unfortunately, Siri heard this as "Cliff of the big black cock"! DS was in hysterics, and after that, DH password protected his phone!

I use it and love it...but need to read them before I send especially if I am speaking quickly...like the time I almost texted my son feces.....
