And so the season begins!
Our neighborhood had a Thanksgiving parade this past weekend, and on a fluke, I was called to let know worked was closed unexpectedly. For the first time in years, I was able to take the kids to the parade.
So, my DD will start with a Thanksgiving parade!
And it even flurried! The first snow of the season.

Me too! I actually have quite a few photos already for my DD! In the past week I've had several great opportunities to take photos. I've helped my daughter decorate her home 2 different days. We also went Christmas shopping one day. I've also made my cards and gift tags which I always include. And my daughter sent an invite to her holiday party. I started my album this weekend!!! Love this time of year and this project!!

I got so confused because my brain went into lockdown mode and was convinced you were talking about your Dear Daughter.  So, my DD will start with a Thanksgiving parade! My December-ignoring brain: "Whatever does this mean? Maybe she typed in an extra word and meant her daughter will be marching at the front of the Thanksgiving parade? No, she clearly says "starts". I don't get it. What's the deal here? *literally five minutes later after having replied to another thread* Oh my, OF COURSE, DD, December Daily DD! Duh..."  Yay for starting that DD! Do share a pic to get the DD itch going here. |

Heehee, sleepingbooty , I was a little confused when I opened the thread, too. I tend to think next month is So. Next. Month. Until it is HERE. Took a minute to realize it was the December Daily LavenderLayoutLady was talking about! An extra holiday from work, a parade, and a snowfall! Sounds like a glorious way to get into the spirit of the season! |

That's awesome! My mom will visit me this weekend and I'm excited about us going out BF shopping. I will definitely take some photos to use in my DD. Super excited to hit an actual brick & mortar and to see store windows and displays with my mom. Last year, ALL my shopping was on-line.

It's nice to be ahead of the game, isn't it? I was in the city this weekend and it was in various states of being decorated so I took pics to use in my DD. We'll be back down in a few weeks so I'm thinking of combining the photos for a spread. This is the first year I'm not stressed about DD. Taking a year off was the break I needed.
