Has anyone used the Heidi Swapp color magic products? I had originally planned to purchase the new PL mini kit. But it seems like in a few of the product videos that there were more cut out cards than resist cards. I starting thinking that I could just cut out cards with the Silhouette to mist. Is there something I am missing? Are the cards somehow better than using white cardstock?

The smaller cards seem to made out of water color paper--I thought about cutting my own, too. The bigger cards are the ones that are made out of resist, and I love them. I've used sprays on her resist paper and some tags she has sold in the past, so I am excited to use the sprays on the new resist cards!

Good to know! I was super excited about the value kit because I thought all the cards would be resist. So, I was a little let down when I realized they all weren't. However, I guess the watercolor paper would blend a bit better than regular cardstock.

I got this kit too & debated over it because of the difference in the cards. In the end, I caved but more because I loved the wood words that were included & I don't do PL, so most cards get used randomly on layouts or in scattered divided protectors so I don't need them to coordinate. I also got the gold one. I can't wait to use both of these little kits.

I saw these at my store today, and will be going back to buy them tomorrow (with a coupon, if course). And yes, the smaller cards look to be made of a cream colored watercolor paper, while the color resist papers are white. Doesn't matter to me, though, if still want them. The overlays kit also caught my eye, so I'm not sure which one I'll end up getting yet. Oh who am I kidding, I'm getting both! Lol

I'm so on the fence with this mini kit! I have some very high quality water color paper here I can cut with my Silhouette, but I love those resist cards... decisions....
I bought her overlay mini kit though. LOVE IT! Definitely my favorite!
