There is one die I really want. it really isn't that exciting. But I like the Kittie kraft blog and she has don't a lot of stuff with it and now I want it. I like the reindeer a lot. So only 2 places I have found sell. One is a big name place, the other I have heard of. Now I'm also shopping around for a couple impression obsession dies I want. I have order from them directly and did so this morning. 3 dies price to ship to Canada $6. That's reasonable, I'm ok with that..Simon says shipping is anywhere from $5-8...I'm good with that. What I am not good with is we will bill you later for shipping. This is a $10 die. So I have to pay for the die now, they can't estimate shipping for me and they will paypal the shipping cost to me after it is packaged. At least this one is willing to charge right for it and not just a flat fee of $30 for up to a lbs or something. Its a risk. I don't want to get nailed $15 for shipping on a $10 die. Its not on ebay. But really how can some American companies ship for less and other places charge $30. I don't understand. I'm just venting. I haven't decided what to do. I'm looking for alternatives to it. I need something small.

I feel your pain. Shipping to Canada has really gone up in the last few years. Some places like sites that are now defunct, had crazy shipping methods to Canada and i was always submitting a ticket to be refunded $10-15.
I am happy with ACOT's shipping. It is high but once you have >4 lbs it has to go Priority and that is where the price goes up. ACOT has refunded me up to $20 for shipping before though due to my preorders being sent piece meal. I can't complain though. They have done a very good job and I like them for that.

Well I just looked in the Silhouette store. I think its time I started using my silhouette. I have the SD one. I have a lot of shapes. they have a 20% off promo right now. I think I will do that. Yes it going to be my challenge. NO MORE DIE SHOPPING UNTIL I USE MY SILHOUETTE.

Yes it going to be my challenge. NO MORE DIE SHOPPING UNTIL I USE MY SILHOUETTE. I was about to suggest a Silhouette would be less expensive in the long run, especially for something this simple. Since you already have it, I hope you get as much use out of yours as I do mine. I am using my Silhouette as I type. I use it a LOT.

No matter how much I want something...I will NOT purchase from an on-line seller that gouges in their shipping prices when shipping to Canada. I don't know if what you are looking for is sold by stampsalive.blogspot.com/...but I find her shipping rates very reasonable (she ships out of Nevada).

International shipping is a pain. And the costs vary hugely. I'm another one who won't shop if you can't tell me how much the shipping is going to be. Good idea to use your Silhouette though. I have a cricut I use with Sure Cuts a Lot software and it's saved me a fortune in dies.

They shapes you posted would be an easy trace if you have silhouette to cut them on. Then you can make them however big or small you want.

Shipping to Canada is expensive. I sent 2 pkgs of enamel dots in a padded envelope to a friend there as a RAK. It was almost $9.
