I've been reading posts for about an hour now and need to get back at it!! Last week I started a reorganizing/cleaning project in my 'scrap room', totally on the spur of the moment and with a half-completed layout on the table. But, I was able to locate the cap of my exacto knife, the cover I use for my hole piercer AND, my smallest CM circle cutter!!!! It was in my trash can and I have to give my DH credit for emptying it one item at a time. I also did some dusting and took things out of packaging so it doesn't take up as much room. Now to finish up and get the layout completed so I can move on.
Almost forgot the most important thing! A few pictures from 2011 of my mom with her great grandson, possibly the only time she'll see him. I am missing like 6 months of pics from that year and swore I had seen these. Where all the others are I don't know. I have an old computer that I still need to check the hard drive, but not holding out a lot of hope, since supposedly everything was transferred over.
Oh, and my scrap room is our 'guest bedroom'. But mostly it is my craft/scrap room with a bed in the middle of everything that I use for extra work/storage space. I'd have to clear it off if anyone actually wanted to stay with us!

I'm right there with you. I'm missing my bone folder and a wood veneer that I pulled off a page to paint and now I can't find it (annoying fairies!). My craft space is in one of our guest rooms. Our daughter and her family will be here in September (they live in Australia. So I need to make my craft supplies scarce so they can feel comfortable. I found a photo of my brother from 1983. Already posted it on facebook I wish that I really would keep this area in order like I plan to every time I clean it up! What's the fun in that though?

Other than the obvious feeling of "Ahhhhh . . . " when it's all done, that's half the fun of organizing your space - finding stuff you forgot you had or thought you lost!
Have fun ladies!

I have 2 Martha boners (bone folders) but I can't find one of them. Really glad I have 2 because I love those things. They are pink with a purty rhinestone on them! When I "organize" is when I get into trouble. Then I can't find anything! I lost my favorite acrylic block for stamping, the one I glued a drawer knob onto. I looked high and low for it and finally found it last night. Whew! I am still trying to figure out the best system for things. I am going to buy a new bookcase to store stamps on. I unmounted most of them, but I recently bought a bunch from a retiring demo. I want to keep those sets together.

Have fun with your re-organizing. It's a great feeling when it's done.
