6 Quart Instant Pot for $59 and free shipping from Walmart.com
I went through ebates first before I ordered . Then, I checked out the price at Amazon and it was showing $59 for me at Amazon instead of the list price of $210. I'm not sure if it's price-matching or if it's on sale at Amazon. Here's the Amazon link in case it works for someone else, too. (Don't forget you can go through ebates to get to Amazon.) HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

It shows up as $59 for me too. I have a pressure cooker that I bought from QVC over a year ago and I love mine. I use it a minimum of once a week and never use my crockpot anymore. Things that you normally would cook in your crockpot taste so much better in a pressure cooker. Pinterest is a fantastic resource if you are looking for recipes or wondering how you can adjust a recipe to make in a pressure cooker. If you've ever thought about getting one, I would pull the trigger and get this one.

Why is this $219 originally? My 7-in-1 (i.e., the one that has the yogurt function which this linked one does not have) was much less than that at full price. Maybe this $219 is a typo?

I didn't notice that. The $59 is a good deal, but I don't think I've ever seen one with a starting price that high. I hate when stores try to make a sale look like a much bigger discount than it really is.

Either that or it's a typo. Well anyway....I just bought two! lol. One for my second pot and one for my son for Christmas. Now....the problem is that just yesterday I bought two of the Magic Chef ones from Home Depot. hahahahahaha So I guess I'll be taking those back. Or maybe I'll give them as gifts to other people. We will see... Oh, and I just got BOTH of these IPs for free by using my Amazon points that I've accumulated! woo-hoo! Also in my order were two add-on items, a strainer thing for yogurt and a good quality sketchbook. Yay for Amazon's credit card points!

So the big question is, how many IPs do you think they'll sell today at this price? lol. The Facebook group is blowing up with people posting that they just bought one. Or two. One woman tried to buy four as gifts but discovered that three was the limit. lol.

Instant Pot Community Instant Pot Recipes Instant Pot Cooks (All Pots Welcome) Instant Pot Cooks Advanced Topics This Old Gal Instant Pot Presure Cooker Recipes Instant Pot - Healthy Recipes and Ideas Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Meals Instant Pot Hotties 5 Day How To! There are a lot. But the one I was talking about is the official one sponsored by the IP company. I post there sometimes but follow along a lot. It's really huge so there's always someone who has an answer to any question you might have. There's also a Weight Watchers group. I haven't posted there much at all but I need to get more involved there after all the mac and cheese and rice pudding I've been making. -- Also, most of the groups aren't IP-specific, except for the official company one. They're just called "Instant pot" because so many people got into pressure cooking through that product. -- The Instant Pot Cooks (All Pots Welcome) group is very nice, and This Old Gal is VERY proprietary -- i.e., don't post ANYTHING that isn't from her blog. I don't go to hers much anymore.

Of course you can always participate on the official IP group even if you don't have an IP. Lots of great recipes there, you'd just have to figure out which buttons to push on your own pressure cooker.

The 6-in-1 is sold out now on Amazon. It seems to be still available at Walmart for the same price, although I wouldn't expect that to last long either. I think the Facebook groups broke Amazon with all the ordering. lol

Thanks leftturnonly ! I've been waiting for this. We don't have Prime, so went with the non-Prime deal of $80ish, BUT we had Amazon gift card money just waiting for this opportunity to pounce.

Thank heavens I've already purchased as many IPs as can fit in my kitchen and have already given them as gifts to everyone in my life who would use them, so I will not be competing with all y'all that NEED these in your lives. I foresee another spike in our weekly thread participation.

Thank you! I've been waiting for these to go on sale. Amazon was showing them in stock, but I kept getting an error, so I went over to Walmart.com and grabbed one there. So excited!
Now the real question- do I give this to dh to give me for Christmas, or do I just start using it right away??

I ordered it from Wal-Mart because of the e-bates. Nothing would come up in e-bates for Amazon. The only thing Amazon had for me was free two day shipping since I'm a prime member. I can wait until Dec. 7 for the extra savings. LOL I have a pressure cooker from QVC. I'll give it to my son and daughter-in-law so they will have a pressure cooker.

This one doesn't do yogurt, which is fine, but this is the lux and only does high pressure, not high and low. How big of a difference does that make?

Shoot!! Somehow, don't ask me how, but TWO more IP's are on their way to my house.
No, wait, make that THREE. Lol my sister just texted that she bought one and is having it shipped here as they will be out of town.

Not Elaine, obviously, but...I have no idea what "low" is. I've never had to use it. I just push "manual" and however many minutes the recipe calls for. So I can say that if your mom and ds want to cook meat, and beans, and oatmeal, and eggs, and cheesecake, and rice pudding, and potatoes....well they don't need low pressure. lol Maybe low is good for vegetables which can overcook easily? But those are easy to figure out once you get the hang of it. For example, beef and broccoli... just cook the beef and sauce part, and add in the broccoli at the end for 0 or 1 minute. Done.

I bought two Magic Chefs yesterday at Home Depot's excellent price. Then this IP went on sale today so I bought two of those. I guess I'll take the Home Depot ones back to the store when they get here, although who knows....I might think of someone to give them to as a gift. But the two IPs are one for me as my second pot, and one for ds who will never ever make yogurt so he doesn't need the one with yogurt function.
