gailoh ----I'm sending you LOTS of prayers and ((( hugs ))) for Wednesday!!! Also,
very sorry about your niece!
tincin----that's so funny about all those post-it-notes all over your house!
jackie ----Sending you prayers and ((( hugs )))---are you feeling better now?
anxiousmom ---awww...I LOVED reading about your son's surprise visit !!!
destined2bmom ----I'm so sorry you missed your Mom so much! (( hugs ))---the first holidays are the worst, aren't they? Sorry about your sister, too; my baby brother died 7 years ago, so I relate to your pain. I also hate to even imagine how life will
be after my Dad dies
rodeomom ---WOW on the matching teeshirts !!! How fun, annnd, so happy your sis-in-law is
doing well !!!
ooooh, but such a bummer there's no group photo!! Your story makes me
wish we'd done something like that when my dear sis-in-law went through cancer, too.
(Thank the Sweet Lord, she's now 16 years cancer-free !!!)
@jigglypuff ---Sorry you didn't get to see your family!
I can relate to your problem
with traveling. We aren't going on our annual roadtrip to see our families / one of
my bestest friends because
of my medical stuff.....We're all bummed...missing CHRISTMAS?!??!....I NEVER thought
that would happen! Not only is being with our families awesome, but the actual road trip
is also a blast!! Our doggies also LOVE road trips, and staying in hotels with them
is also very fun! I'm still in a mild state of shock that we're not going.
Spongemom Scrappants ....To your dear sons serving in the Navy, I want
to say to them: THANK YOU!

I'm kind of surprised to realize that I'm missing my brother after
him being with being with us for 4 days and 3 nights. Even though he, DH and I have a
great time together, laugh A LOT, and he's a very easy "houseguest", I thought I'd be ready for
him to GO...hee hee
....but, nope...I'm actually a bit sad, anddd, our sweet doggies walk by the guestroom looking for him.
Maybe since we have NO
family nearby, it's hitting me a bit harder.
Aside from missing all our wonderful extended families on Thursday, our sweeet
great-niece's six birthday was Wednesday, so I'm sad we couldn't be there for that.
I think I said this in my previous post that I am thankful for facebook, so we can
at least see piks and vids of special occasions.
