My shockwave constantly crashes on this site. Anyone else have this problem? I've updated it (and the browsers) and tried different browsers but still the same results. Just curious if any computer guru's out there with a fix. Thanks!

On my laptop this site will often hang up for awhile before responding. Is that related to Shockwave?

I had this problem this morning. I thought it was related to my new computer...well, not new, but new to me (my mom has a friend who owns a computer place and as part of her tithing to their church is that they take the laptops that are donated for their annual bazaar cleans them up, adds all the new bits and bobs and replaces the unworking things and my mom 'bought' it for me for what they would have sold it for as a donation to the church.) Anyway, I assumed it was part of having to set up a 'new' to me laptop and didn't even consider it might have been something else. I googled and found an article in PC World about how to fix the problem and essentially the bottom line was to make sure that your google chrome is the most up to date version and it might have to be done manually. (Something about google chrome and adobe flash.) try this link to see if it helps

Happens to me all the time, too, but not just on this site. I think it's a Shockwave issue.

So I read the link about and reinstalled Chrome. I know mine was way out of date and already I feel like it's an improvement.
So, apple doesnt use flash? the same problem is not on a mac?

I just updated Chrome. Let's see if things improve. I am on a Mac and have been having problems. Hopefully it is fixed now. Fingers crossed! ETA: So it has been over 10 minutes now and I am just cruising along these boards at warp speed! No hang ups! I have to remember to keep Chrome updated.

I am thinking it's a flash problem. Sounds like I'm not the only one experiencing it. It happens on all 3 browsers I've used. My Chrome and other browsers are updated as is the flash. Probably just bugs that they need to fix in the flash or whatever plug-in these sites use. Thanks so much for the responses.
