We are upgrading our phones tomorrow. I am so sick of my phone not having any storage. I'm wondering if 32gb is enough or if I should go bigger? I don't want to pay extra if I don't have to buy Also want to make sure I have enough space. What are your experiences?

Personally I would (and did) go way bigger. All the new apps are so much more powerful and require more memory and that's not going to change. The newer cameras have more megapixels and the photos take up more space, and that's not going to change either. Get the most memory you can afford. You won't be sorry, especially a year or two from now.

I went with 128GB. I had 64 on my last phone, and it was perfect for me. Alas, it wasn't an option on the iPhone 7. I don't keep a ton on my phone, but I just looked and I have 41G in use. That's pictures, music, and apps.

There is no 64 gb now. We are on an iPhone forever plan and they said that to upgrade to something bigger than 32 would be $100 up front.

I have 128gb, with about 68 in use. I love having everything on my phone. I was at our nephew's wedding 2 weeks ago with a cousin I hadn't seen in 15+years. I was able to pull up photos of her dad (gone about 10 years now), DS and my FIL about 15 years ago to show how much he looks like FIL. Plus, I took a ton of photos at the wedding. You will never regret the extra memory. You can keep videos on your phone, use apps more effectively, and more is always better!

I went with the 128 GB for the 7plus. With my 6plus I went with 64 GB and I used over half.
It wasn't much more per month to go from the 32 to 128 GB 7 plus. In fact everybody in the family went with the 128 GB.
You use more memory than you think. Plus the camera on the 7 is great. I use my phone camera more now than I do my DSLR so the larger memory is great.

I am typing this on my brand new iPhone 7 plus (just got it set up today). I went from 16 gig to 128. I was tired of having to delete photos, apps, attachments, recent calls, etc every time I wanted to take a photo. Keep in mind that I had no music on my phone, not many apps at all, and about 80-100 photos total.
Get the most memory you can. I am going to enjoy not having to ask myself "is this picture-worthy?" all of the time.

My last phone was a 32. I have about 5K photos on my phone, so it was slow and pretty full. I love the 128. I don't even have to think about it. Probably ever!
Also, the camera on the 7 is wonderful. I went to Spain a few weeks ago and I didn't take a camera with me--just my phone. My pictures are beautiful. At one point, my friend and I stood side by side and took the same photograph. Hers was on an iphone 6. There was no comparison. The quality of the 7 was outstanding.

I don't think 32 would be enough. I have 68 on my iphone 6 and have used all but 12. I wouldn't go smaller than 68.

I don't have any music on my phone and don't use it to download and watch movies. Up until this upgrade I've always gotten by with 16g but at the end I was consistently have to use a trick I learned here to clear up space. I was happy to go up to 32 but only chose it because they no longer offer anything less. And I admit, I'm a cheapskate! For me 32 is fine.

Personally 32GB wouldn't be enough for me because of all the photos I take. I went from 32GB on my iPhone 5s to 128GB on my 6S.

I have 32 and am constantly deleting photos & apps to make room to send emails.
I will be getting 128 when I upgrade. Worth the money.

I guess it depends on what your current use is. I've always had 32g until my 6 which is 64. I'll never use all that space because i don't store tons of stuff on my phone. i back up my photos elsewhere and everything else is on the cloud. My son is always running out of space on his 16g. I have no idea what he is storing on his phone.

Personally 32GB wouldn't be enough for me because of all the photos I take. I went from 32GB on my iPhone 5s to 128GB on my 6S. I went from 16GB on my 4s to 128GB on my 6s. Oftentimes my cell is the only camera I have with me, and I use it a LOT. When I switched phones I took something like 1500 photos off of my phone, and that was just the ones I had left on there. I had easily taken that many more off of my phone previously in an attempt to free up some space.

I would go bigger. My phone is 32 ( which is actually more like 29 or 30 depending on your phone? ) Mine is always out of storage and it's usually the updates that do it. I took every picture i had on there for work off my phone hundreds of pics and it didn't make a dent last update. The only thing that solved the storage issue was to install the update as it is auto downloaded to your phone and sits there taking up space until you install it. I swear the more photos I deleted the less storage became available it was the oddest thing. You can delete the update but once your on wifi or the internet again it re downloads it and it sits there again.

For me? Yes. I don't have music, all my photos are backed up to Dropbox, and I have an iPad.

I had 16gb on my old phone and was so tired of deleting crap just to take a pic. So I went all out and bought a 256gb iPhone 7. . Tons and tons of room. I can take a million pictures, never delete texts, it's so nice!!!! I don't think I could do 32gb. I am using more than that right now.
