i just purchased a new treadmill. My old treadmill held my Ipad in such a way that I could still view the treadmill screen and controls. The new one (and most I looked at) has a ledge for the iPad but it covers the screen. The way I do my workouts I do specific timings and speed bursts that I like to manually control but now I have to lift/slide the iPad to see the screen and press controls. Can anyone recommend a great, sturdy stand that can be attached to my treadmill for easy viewing of both the screen and my shows lol? I'm googling now but would like pea recommendations.
Thanks!

I use this for a laptop, but it indicates it works for an iPad too. I'm very happy with it! It may be overkill for an iPad and there is likely something less expensive, but this does have a lot of flexibility in terms of fitting on a lot of different types of machines and holding many different types of electronics. www.amazon.com/SurfShelf-Treadmill-Desk-Laptop-Holder/dp/B001M04RBK

Looks great but not sure it wouldn't be too much shelf for me. Thanks for the input!

I have used the following mount for mine for the past 5 years. I need my iPad at eye-level, rather than looking down at it, or I get shoulder and neck cramps. The goose-neck keeps it at eye level - I have it clamped to the top of my treadmill's display panel. So, the display panel isn't blocked at all. link

I'll search for something similar. I like that if I was reading, instead of watching Netflix I could bring my kobo closer. Does it bounce much while running?

And yes, you can pull things close for reading. I read most of the Game of Thrones book while on my treadmill with my iPad in that holder. The other thing to consider is that they now make iPad holders for microphone stands. So, if you have the space to have a Mike stand next to your treadmill, that might be something to consider - especially using a hinged Mike-stand that bends in the middle, so you can move the iPad in front of your face.

One thing I like about mine is that it is pretty stiff, so it definitely stays where I put it, even with my heavy large iPad Pro.

TFS! I'm looking for one for DH for Christmas too. He wants to watch TV or Netflix while walking on the treadmill but we don't have a cable jack in that room for another TV. I was originally thinking if I got him some kind of Gorillapod or holder for his iPad he could watch on that. This one looks like it might work, I'll have to see if there's something I can clamp it to.
