Do you go back to your Pinterest pins to add thoughts or amend them? I tried a recipe for Thanksgiving that I can see a bunch of others pinned. I think the preparation was far more time consuming that the recipe suggested and the flavor of the finished dish didn't justify the work involved. I will remember it and won't prepare the dish again so I don't need to make the notes.
I guess I'm wondering if there is some ethos as to amending, or even deleting, pins from my Pinterest boards -- specifically one that has been repinned a lot.

I've never made notes, I just delete recipes that didn't work out. And I created a new board of favorite recipes for when I need one that is tried and true.

If I do or make something that doesn't turn out good I delete the pin from my board.

I have a small group of friends that actively share recipes through Pinterest so we move recipes fails to a Don't Bother board and I might add a note (too greasy, way too many steps, bland, etc.). If I wasn't sharing this information and happy to have their boards to check out, I'd just delete the pins.

I have a board specifically for recipes that I use often ... something that was a bust I would just delete ... I don't add notes to anything - too much trouble and I'm lazy

I do add notes to my pins occasionally. I used to write notes on paper recipes and I'm just about paperless in terms of recipes, so the notes serve the same purpose to me. I delete bad recipes that I never want to make again.
I also delete pins regularly. When I have a project in mind, I pin a lot of different ideas until the project takes shape. I'll scroll through my board and delete the "WTH was I thinking there" pins until I have the elements of the project pulled together.

When I try a recipe, good or bad, it gets pinned to the recipes pinned and tested board. If I remember, I delete the recipe on the regular board I didn't like.

I only edit a pin if it was an awesome recipe. Duds get deleted.

I have a Things I've Actually Tried board. I put all the recipes I've made and eaten (attempted to eat) in there. I write notes about what I liked, or what I changed, or why I hated it. Most are good. Some have made members of my house throw up. With those I write in all caps, do not eat! Made whoever throw up!

I have a Tried It board, and if I make changes or it was awful or fantastic I make comments. Would be a good idea also to make a Repeats board!

I delete a lot of pins that don't work or just lose interest in. I like to clean up and purge my boards every so often. There was only one recipe that I changed the caption on and re pinned saying what I thought about it because I felt it wasn't what the original blogger said. But it's quicker to just delete.
