I've seen photos in the past posted at 2peas about surprising your kids with money for their birthday by decoratively taping it to the wall or their bedroom door. Can you post images you have of this to give me some creative ideas? Thanks.

I've never heard of this, but would love to see ideas, too. What a great idea for moving day for college, too!

I've never heard of this, but immediately thought the bills arranged into their birthday number (age) or a shape like a heart would be very cute!

Yes, there is a pea that has done this a few times I believe and I have googled and googled and can't find any images for cash door, cash wall, money door, money wall, etc. My DD's 18th birthday is this Wednesday and I got 20 $5 bills today and was going to get some $1 bills as well and would love to get ideas on how to do this.
ETA: If I recall correctly, she placed gold metalic streamers down the wall or door and taped the bills on the streamers. All tightly grouped together.

I don't have an image personally, but I've seen something on Pinterest (I think?) where someone place bills inside balloons, blew them up, and then either taped the balloons onto the door or hung them with ribbons from the doorway.

Sounds similar to the idea of giving cold, hard, cash - where the cash is in the middle of a block of ice. Watching the recipient having to wait for the ice to melt adds to the fun

I"ve not seen it on doors specifically but you can google money origami and find ways to fold bills into neat items for gift giving.

You could just tie it into a long ribbon string and then hang that from their door. Or tape it to streamers and hang those.
