My DD made some pecan pie bars last Wednesday and we still have a bunch of them. I hate to throw them away. Do you think they'd be good if I wrapped them and put them in the freezer? TIA!

I thawed a pecan pie yesterday that I put in the freeze on Thanksgiving. I didn't know whether it would freeze well or not. Anyway, we had it for dinner last night and it was just like it had been freshly made.

Yes, they should freeze very well. Toasted nuts will retain most of their crispness in the freezer and the base will freeze wonderfully.

I have frozen those exact bars. It's not a problem at all.

They were made last Wednesday and have not been refrigerated just in an airtight container. They taste just fine. Still think it's okay?
