DH will swear I watched the Matrix movies. shhhhhhh, I didn't really. my body may have been physically in the room but my mind and attention was completely elsewhere. absolutely no interest in that movie (as much as I love Keanu)

The other night The Wizard of Oz was on and I watched the part where the Wicked Witch melted. I have never seen the whole movie. It freaked me out as a little kid. This flying monkeys looked too human. Funny though, I saw Wicked on Broadway and it helped me see how I was painting those little monkeys incorrectly. I probably should watch it.

there are SO many movies that I haven't seen, so I'm going to stick to fairly recent classics with my answers:
I've never seen Schindler's List and really don't want to.
I've never seen Saving Private Ryan- I've heard it's great, but I've just never had the opportunity to see it. It just doesn't come into my head when we talk about watching movies.
eta: No James Bond? you're totally missing out on seeing Sean Connery and Daniel Craig dressed up- and undressed!!

Oh man, Die Hard is the best... at least the first one. I didn't see it for years and years and tuned in about a month ago, forgot how much I loved it.
Now when I watch Top Gun, it is so cheesy... holy moly, I can (like most of us) quote silly lines from that movies. Funny how it was SO good when it came out and now how 'bad' it is

Saving Private Ryan was very good and worth watching when you have a free afternoon I saw Schindlers List at the theatre. Well done, but just heartbreaking and so disturbing. I think it's a movie anyone old enough should see. I will never watch it again though.

Never seen any Bourne movies or Ocean 11 movies or any of the current crop of superhero movies: Captain America etc... Me too for Bourne and Oceans 11 et al but I have to take one for the team with the Marvel movies; it's bonding time with my guys. And there are worse ways to spend an afternoon than with a big bag of popcorn and Thor. <leering smiley>

I've never seen it either, though I'm not sure why. Maybe I'll watch it this year. Because it is the most depressing movie EVER! Poor guy is trapped in his hometown, never able to leave because everybody's fate depends on him. How f'ing awful.

I've never seen Schindler's List and really don't want to. I won't either. I remember well seeing actual footage of survivors that were rescued from camps when WWII ended. I won't watch it acted out.

I always hear Rocky, The Godfather, etc quoted and I've never seen (or have a desire to) them. I really dislike violent, true crime, etc types. I also have no plans to ever watch: Pulp Fiction Kill Bill Saw Taxi Driver Different strokes etc.... you listed my 2 favorite movies of all time - Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill! I love every Quentin Tarantino movie. I also loved the Godfather movies and Scar Face. The movies that I haven't seen and never will, that people are always surprised about, are: Gone with the Wind The Sound of Music Casablanca

First of all, I don't like movies about war or westerns or takes place in 1600s-1800's so period pieces bore me.
50 Shades of Grey Lord of the Rings Godfather movies Rocky movies Hunger games series Casablanca Citizen Kane Funny Girl Matrix & Bourne usually any movie that has to do with American wars, politics, history as I'm Canadian.
im sure there are a lot more I can't think of right now.

I had not seen Planes, Trains, and Automobiles until 3 days ago, and after reading the thread about how great is was, we watched it and totally dis-liked it. What a waste of time. Wish we had not seen it.
