All Bells in Paradise In a Bleak Mid Winter The Truth from Above (the Vaughan Williams arrangement) Anything from Britten's A Ceremony of CarolsModern? Does Fairy Tale of New York count? I love this too. My DD was part of the National Girls' Choir of Scotland which recorded A Ceremony of Carols in 2010. She was very unwell at the time, but got a lot of pleasure from taking part. And now I sob in a very ugly manner every time I hear it!

My favourites are:
O Holy Night Once In Royal David's City
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Let It Snow (x 3!) Stop The Cavalry Fairytale of New York
And a new one that makes me laugh every time I hear it is Santa's A Scotsman. It has the classic line "Too many pies, not enough exercise, of course he's one of us". What's not to love?!

I've loved "O Come, All Ye Faithful " since childhood.

I love Christmas music!! Old standards, mostly, sung by the 'original' singers (Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, etc.) and also choral / Boston Pops symphonic arrangements of carols. I do NOT like most remakes of carols performed by pop singers, except for a few exceptions. There are some really fun albums of retro-1950s style Christmas music out there, that I really like, too- Christmas Cocktails is one that comes to mind.
That said, I would have to say my absolute favorite carols are:
Silver Bells (my Mom's favorite carol; I remember playing it for her on the piano as a kid)
Silver and Gold (ONLY as sung by Burl Ives, from Rudolph. Every time I hear it I can picture the scene from the special, and I practically tear up-- there's just something about that song that feels melancholy to me)
Sleigh Ride (played by the Boston Pops orchestra)
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, sung by Judy Garland (which can also be very melancholy, if you've ever watched the movie Meet Me in St. Louis)
I also like traditional Christmas hymns that remind me of childhood Christmas eve church services, as sung by traditional choral groups-- We Three Kings, Oh Holy Night, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, etc.

Not a particular carol, but my favorite albums are the Vince Guarardi Trio, Carpenters, and James Taylor Christmas albums.

I love most of them, so it is easier to list what I hate!
Felize Navida , Christmas waltz, and last Christmas. Words can describe how much I hate these songs.
