something to replace drawer pulls. I painted an old dresser to use as a TV stand and need to do something with the holes for the drawer pull. I am looking for a flat plate or something like it. Is there such a thing? What might it be called?
I do not want to put handles on it at this time because my little grand loves to open drawers and I want to avoid her messing with the stand. Thanks for your help and ideas.

If you want to permanently cover the holes you could glue on paintable decorative wood medallions/rosettes. Just google to see a wide variety of styles. It would also be possible to drill a hole in the center of these to install using a screw.

Also try googling cabinet hardware backplates. These are normally put on first with a knob installed on top but you could just leave off the knob part and install with a matching color screw.

Oh Sue, thanks so much for the great ideas. I hadn't thought of using wooden medallions. I will also check out back plates now that I have a name for them!

You could fill the holes with either wood filler or spackle and paint over them.

I'd probably just turn the handle to the inside until she outgrows the obsession. It probably won't be long.
