I'm a teacher and the media center at my school just got a Cameo! Woot! My librarian friend says I'm welcome to use it for personal projects, but I'm not sure what the best way is to do that. If I buy files, do I have to download them to my computer, or do they stay in my account online? In other words, can I only download them once and then have to use them on that computer, or can I access my files from any computer?
Can somebody explain for me what would be the best way to buy files and use them on the school's machine? TIA!!

meridon, I don't know what version of Cameo your school has purchased, but my machine has an SD card slot. I think copying any personal files you purchase onto an SD card to use in the school machine as you wish would be the easiest. I think the newer machines might have a USB port?

Oh good to know! I'll check tomorrow. They just bought their machine, so I assume it's the latest one, but I'm not sure.

when you buy things from the Cameo store...they automatically go into your machine after you buy them. If you use other places to get files you save to your computer...move to desktop...o;pen the file that says inport to my library & your desktop up & the ones just downloaded are at thew top you can use coloring pages & clip art & stamps tons of free clipart for every occasion.. you will get so excited when you see all the different choices out there. pluse there are lots of websitees that have tons of free cutting files. There is a list at the top of this section here
