It seems like there is a good amount of interest in how to organize SB supplies, scrap rooms, etc., so I made a request to our Fairy PodMother for a SB Organization sub board. She seemed willing, but she asked me to post a thread here on GS to see if there was enough interest to add one. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to be able to easily reference back to certain organization threads, especially now that the GS board has really taken off. It also would be nice to have a separate board just for organization threads in case we ever wanted to do our own organization challenge here at some point. I will be starting a MAJOR studio enhancement project in the coming months, and I will need all the help I can get.  So I guess if we ask, we shall receive! If this idea sounds good to you, please reply! |

Sorry, but I don't agree with the need for another sub board. After a while what will be left to post on the GS board?

I do like the idea of organization threads, I just don't think they need a separate board.

too many sub- boards are what I don't like about other scrapbooking message boards.

I love the idea of having and organization thread. If it doesn't make it into a sub board you could always keep it rotated so; it stays on the front page.

I love to read about organization. I don't care if it's a thread or its own board. I would guess that there would have to be quite a few threads to justify having a separate board. Maybe we could just start with threads on the general board and then, in time, if there are several threads about organization, that would be the time to start another board?

I like the idea of a separate board for organizing, but I am flexible. I enjoy reading the boards.

I love to read about organizing too, especially when the ideas are DIY or don't depend on trying to find something that has already been discontinued.  Once I get my cabinets installed and all my stuff sorted, I'm definitely going to want to take part in some kind of organization challenge to help me keep my feet to the fire with getting it all whipped into shape now that it will finally be in its forever home, LOL! |

I think there's already too many sub-boards. It's hard to remember to leave here to talk about card-making specifically, or PL specifically, or mixed media... you get the idea. I dunno why we can't just have it all mixed in when it's all craft related.

I'm fine either way, I am always looking for new ideas on how to organize my crafts. A separate board would help finding the information a lot easier.

Yes, I would like a sub-board for scrapbook organization threads. I always thought the sub-boards were for subject matters that received lots of different threads, and I think there's a big enough interest in organizational ideas that could require a separate board. Not only that, but for those of us who mainly want to read organizational threads it would be nice to have one place to look rather than scrolling through the whole GS board. I don't think I've found a way to search for threads on here, come to think of it...

A sub-board makes sense if the idea is to have separate threads pertaining to specific storage ideas. For example, one for Project Life cards, one for paper, one for stamps, etc.

I do not think we need another sub board. I forget to look at most of the ones already here. I come to General Scrapping most of the time. But never think to look at the others. I like it all mixed together. There might be a great post on a sub board that I would like to see, but if I never go there I won't see it. If it is on the General board, I will see it and then be inspired to do something new  JMHO |

Just chiming in as another one who thinks there are enough (too many!) sub boards already. I only scroll through GS, I don't really look at the others.
