Or do you watch them together?
My dh has no interest in the shows I watch and the language isn't appropriate for dd. So we're apart when I am in a binge.
They're always saying, "Oh, you're watching THAT again!"
How do you get away with it?

DH and I usually watch together so it's not really an issue.

They don't pay too much attention to it if I'm doing it on my iPad. I'm working my way through Grey's Anatomy, though, and my oldest daughter hates it if she comes downstairs when I'm watching it on the tv. Medical shows gross her out. "Oh my God, what are they doing???"

They don't pay any attention to what I'm binge watching. When I tell them what I am watching, they generally say "Oh. That's cool" and moves on.
I don't really feel the need to justify or need a way to get away with it. I'd have a problem if I'd have to justify my viewing. I'm sorry that you feel it's something you need to do.

SO and I usually watch it together. However, there are a couple of shows I know he won't watch, so I end up watching them when is gone.

My DH goes to sleep early, so I'll watch Netflix after 9. I prefer to watch on the TV and usually am alone. The kids might come in and watch a bit, but not if it is something they plan to follow (my son wouldn't watch Breaking Bad with me because I was too many episodes ahead).

They are the ones that want to do it. It kills me when I get into too and then they won't wait two minutes between shows for me to empty the dishwasher or something else like that.

I don't feel like I'm "getting away" with anything because my free time is mine to do what I want with. However, maybe my idea of "binge watching" is different from other people's? I consider a "binge" to be watching more than one episode a week. lol. Weekly is normal because that's how shows are aired on TV. Right now I'm binge watching "Leverage" and I might get through three or four episodes per week. I usually watch while I'm eating, or cooking, or once I'm in bed for the evening.

Dh will sit and watch whatever I'm watching. And there have been a few shows we've watched together and would anxiously wait for the other to be ready so we could watch the next episode. I don't generally sit and watch his shows with him as I'm less interested in what he watches. He just finished Battelstar Galactica (the original and the new one) and is now watching Caprica. I watched a couple of episodes, but didn't find it compelling.
If we don't want to watch what the other is watching, the house is big and there are other things to do. No big deal.

I'm not a binge watcher, particularly, but my kids are older and do their own Netflix watching.

My problem with finding a great new show on Netflix is that my family will want to watch it, too, together, and they want me to wait on them to catch up. They'll get busy with other things and I'm left waiting, knowing I could be watching a show I found. I loved watching things together when the kids were young and the shows were appropriate, but I hate having to wait on them to decide to use their free time to catch up.
Right now, my TiVo is 3/4 full of shows DH wants to watch with me, so I have to wait on him to have time to watch them. He usually only has time for one, maybe two, shows on any given nights, so the weekend is when we catch up. This weekend he chose to watch other show so his tv, so I started watching some of the no serialized shows, like cooking or travel shows. He got pissy!
Now I've instituted the 3 day rule: I'll wait 3 days after it's recorded, then it's fair game. And I erase when I'm done. If you have time to watch Ali or whatever the other movie he was watching, you have time to catch up on Project Runway, kwim?

Ha, one of the reasons I love living alone. I can binge 24/7 and my puppies don't mind a bit!

My daughter says all I care about is Netflix. Which of course is nonsence. She is free to watch all the anieme she wants and right now I'm binging on Hell on Wheels. Next, I think I will re-watch the Killing.

I'm a slow binge watcher. I watch Arrested Development on my Kindle while I'm making dinner. I get funny looks when I randomly laugh out loud because they don't notice at first what I'm watching.
