Yesterday I returned something to Lands End and tried on the dress everyone here has been talking about-the Sleeveless Ponte Sheath Dress with Pockets in black. Oh my! It is amazing! It looked so classic and wonderful! DS is graduating from college this December and I need a dress desperately. I bought it, came home and luckily even have shoes that look great with it. Obviously I plan to wear something over it since it is sleeveless and it'll be in December.
I tried on my 17" fake, but great look pearl necklace I wore when I got married but it's too short for the neckline. I got it 19 years ago and can't find a brand on that necklace. I think a 20" strand would look perfect. I can't afford the real thing, so where do I look for a great quality strand of pearls that look real? I know pearls might make it look matchy, matchy but I love a classic look so that's what I'm going for. I'm a petite girl, 5 foot 3, so I can't carry off big, trendy jewelry. Any idea where to look or what brands to look for?

Kohls has them. You can get cultured or fake.

Never mind, I think I'm going to order it from QVC. They have a great deal on a cultured pearl 20" strand (which is fresh water real) for $92.00. I've ordered from them for years so I can at least give it a try and if I don't like it I can always send it back.

The QVC pearls sound perfect. I loooove my pearls, but don't get to wear them that often.
