So the very day that I swore I was not going to buy one more scrappy thing, I read the Tuesday Morning thread (I know, I know. I'm dooming myself!) and ended up buying the envelope maker. I got mine at Amazon because it was literally cents more.
I love it!!! I feel - I really do - that it will save me money in the long run. I have so many papers that I don't love and I can make envelopes from all of them. It's so fun and easy!!!
Sigh. I have to stop reading about cool and fun stuff!

I love mine. Here is an old thread I posted on that has links to other projects besides envelopes. Punch board
ETA Thanks for starting this thread. My laptop bit the dust last weekend and I didn't have my bookmarks backed up (stupid me). I've been trying to re-create them and wouldn't have thought to look here for the links.

I've had mine forever and I absolutely love it! I have old paper pads that I used to wonder why I ever bought them. Now I know... so I can use the paper to make envelopes!

Tuesday Morning does that to me too. It's a good thing the nearest one is an hour away. Have fun with your new tool.

Have fun with your new tool! I've been using my Cameo to cut envelopes too - something I never thought I'd do.

Keep in mind that Tuesday Morning can be a great place to find paper to use with your punch boards. I made a bunch of paper bags with my bag punchboard with paper I got it Tuesday morning. I've also used paper from Tuesday morning to make envelopes

I think you will love it. I make envies from old calendars or magazine pages and then put an address label on it. So easy. Enjoy yours!

If you put an address label on an envelope made with the Envelope Punch Board, can the envelope be put in the U.S. mail?
I've made envelopes using the punch board, but I've only used it when I was handing the card and envelope to someone in person.

I use regular old double-sided scotch tape or score-tape.

I don't know how much I'll actually use it, but it looked pretty cool. I know how to make them the DIY way, but think this might be a little quicker and easier.

Much safer in NSBR but then they post Amazon.com threads and stuff there so you are doomed! Fun fact: Cricuts are big in General Scrapping, but so are Cameos especially if they are wireless.

Haven't tried my envelop punch board yet but I just made pillow boxes with my cameo. I only needed one box but decided while the machine and cut file were out I pulled an old Christmas paper pad out and cut several in different sizes. Ended up using 4 of them yesterday.
