I saw this project last year and decided I need to do this. Lodge Die So I went out and got the dies for this project. Things happened and I wasn't able to start it before Christmas.
Then while going thru pinterest I found this The ultimate card
So I am just waiting on a die to ship and I will start it.
I am looking forward to doing it. Its going to take a lot of patience, some trial and error, and time but I think it will be fantastic.
I have been writing down ideas and such, figuring out measurements. I have a project book going on this. I have already tested my snow pens or snow applications I have. I have some other ideas too to try.
I plan to make 2. One for me, that I will probably put in a frame / shadow box and display at Christmas. And I will make one for a very special scrappy friend.

It is really pretty and it looks like it will take a fair bit of time. Make sure you post pictures when you are finished! The biggest project I have done to date is my best friend's baby shower four years ago. I made fairly intricate invitations, including about ten layers. I made almost 60 of them. I also made her two diaper cakes (boy/girl twins), and the favor boxes. It took me months to get it all done, but it was a labor of love.

Mine is no where near that beautiful or artistic-- I took on a HUGE project this year- I am scrapbooking 20 years of memorabilia for a non- profit Dental clinic in Nashville TN- it is DUE Sept 10. I met with them yesterday to show what I have done, and they handed me about 20 more hours of work --- I've already put in around 40 it is just organizing and VERY VERY VERY basic pages of newspaper articles- I want to get my cricut out and do a few arrows or whatever to dress it up, but want it to be done- and if I have time go back and jazz it up. I spent another 4 hours last night and added 2 stacks of pictures, hand wrote names... and put in chronologically. [HASH]Getting there! LOL

Very pretty and intricate!
I always seem to take on major projects and then get burned out, but complete them. Currently I'm working on my son and daughter-in-law's wedding, I'm doing 3 albums, hers, mine and her mom's.. The pages are similar, yet unique and in 8.5X 11 and I'm a 12x12 scrapper, so, that in itself is challenging.

I did an album for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It ended up being 3 books. I thought my sister, SIL, and nieces were going to help. In the end, it was a fun project.

I do all of my sisters scrapbooking. I've only done the trips she and her husband take so far. Now, I am about to get started on her kids albums, they are 6 and 9. And there is about 23,000 pictures. It's a huge undertaking, but I will get it done....maybe by the time they're 30 lol. I'm doing it all digitally, so hopefully that will be a little easier. I haven't done much digital yet though, so we shall see how it goes.

I started making a card then I started a box that I altered to match the card then I started a wooden frame to alter to match card and box LOL! This was a few months ago! I need to finish it all. I tend to go overboard but I'm usually not one to take on many things at once.

My daughter's scrapbook of her year as a local beauty queen. I think it was around 62 pages of 12 x 12 layouts, but all in the same paper line. I was so tired of looking at that paper by the time I was done! Now my other daughter is one and I'm working on hers. Of course, she wanted it like her sister's in all one paper line.

Disney World. And the subsequent road trip. I'm still not done.
In fact, I hate all road trip projects because they're so long with so much to cover.

It's probably been about 10 years ago now, but I took the large stack of my grandmother's magnetic albums apart and put the photos into those black leather CM albums with the black pages. Just getting the photos unstuck and in chronological order was a major job in itself! My mom helped a little bit thankfully. Glad I tackled the project when I was still super gung-ho about the hobby.

WOW! those are amazing cards to conquer - good luck! Share when you finish My biggest project was a request from my husband. He wanted a shadow box of an entire magazine (not just the cover..sigh), 10x10" sign board and a series of picture with a famous athlete. Oh sure, no problem! LOL! OY! Even the Michaels Frame Dept. was at a lost and after figuring it out, the cost would be $150 (with the discount)! LOL!! Got it done with a $25.00 shadowbox frame, a drill and strong cording! I am still recovering! LOL!!!

Wow! That card is gorgeous! Have fun creating it!
My biggest project has been an album (2 volumes so far) of my husbands 25+ years as a police officer. He's getting ready to retire, and I'm trying to have it finished by then. It's almost done, but I keep finding things to add to it! I've saved newspaper clippings, photos, ceremony programs, etc. all these years and just this year started to put it all together. My son recently graduated from the academy, and my advice to my dil, who also scraps, is to start his album now and keep up with it throughout the years!

That card is gorgeous! I am looking forward to seeing what you create. My biggest project pales in comparison to the ones posted here so; I will just bow to all of you and the fabulous labors of love that you have accomplished.

I put together a 40th anniversary album together for my in-laws. I started it a year prior to the party. I sent out requests for letters and photos to over 100 people and most replied!!! It was a very special project but not sure it's something I would want to tackle again.

I love to hear about everyones' projects.
My biggest project was scrapbooking a Disney trip. I absolutely loved it though. I covered every imaginable detail (printed just under a thousand pics). It took two 12x12 3 ring albums absolutely stuffed to the gills.

That is an amazing card! I have never seen anything like it. I'd really like to see your final product.
My biggest challenge is that I am in the planning stages of opening my own drop-in craft studio early next year.

Wow! That's an amazing card that deserves to be framed!
The biggest thing I took on was an album for my inlaws' 50th anniversary. Had the story of each of them up to their marriage, their siblings and parents, their wedding, children, grandchildren, hobbies, travels, and finally pages from their friends and pictures from their 50th anniversary party. It was a huge amount of work, but they loved it and showed it to everyone who entered their house for years afterward. I wish I had the time and energy now to do that for my own family.
I also put together an album of my grandmother's life in 3 days after she passed away so it would be available for the memorial. It went together very quickly since she had given me a box of photos for safekeeping, and I crammed in a lot of journaling in a short period of time. As the oldest grandchild, I felt I owed it to her to show my much younger cousins a side of their grandmother they hadn't seen before alzheimers.
Right now my biggest project is our addition that is adding on a sewing/craft room where I will finally be able to have my supplies organized. We're about 4 weeks into the work and probably have a couple more months before it will be done enough that I can get organized and get back to projects. Right now there's not a spare surface in the house with all the displaced stuff!

I did an album a few years ago for my best friends parents wedding anniversary, they loved it but I hated everything about it. I have been asked by a number of people after that if I would do an album for them and the answer is a resounding no. As soon as it became something I had to finish I hated the process, it stressed me out way too much plus people who don't scrapbook have no idea about the time and cost involved in making albums.

As soon as it became something I had to finish I hated the process, it stressed me out way too much plus people who don't scrapbook have no idea about the time and cost involved in making albums. This is very true for any handmade item be it a scrapbook, quilt, sweater, etc. I am very selective of who I give handmade items to for this reason.
