Merry Christmas peas! I hope you have a wonderful day. I'm really happy, everyone loved their gifts!First I have to start with my gift to my inlaws, compliments of freebird. She photoshopped a couple of pics for me, which I then framed. Here are his parents' reactions. They loved it. Very special.  Dd's car reveal was a success! If you watch the video you'll see she didn't even see it at first. Funny.   vimeo.com/197025634Ds12 loved his telescope and other gifts. He was excited to receive mancala.  DS18 loved his batsman underoos, he was laughing so hard he kept sliding to the floor.  I made a game for him for his big gift of Hamilton tickets. I used references from Veggie Tales and Sesame Street as clues. He laughed at the game and is thrilled that we're going.  Even the others we gave gifts to loved them. My special needs nephew was overjoyed with his gift of a "lawn ranger" shirt and my niece's toddler loved her Minnie dress and wanted to wear it the rest of the day.  It was a really nice day with Fred's family yesterday, the nicest we've had in years. Everyone had a good time. Christmas Eve service was difficult for me. Today we're hunkering down at home. I'll let dd take me for a drive and I invited his parents for lunch but told them it needs to be a short visit, not an all day affair. We'll see how the rest of the day goes but it's started out really well. Merry Christmas friends. |
