I miss the magazines, the crops, the conventions, getting together with my girls every week (and then every month) to scrapbook - or just sit and chat.

I'm with Tracie that I already miss 2peas. I also miss the brick and mortar stores that had newer stuff - like Archiver's and a few others.

I don't scrapbook anymore, but I do plan on starting PL soon. I miss trying to get published and the hubbub around it. I met some great friends that way. I also loved going to the Twin Cities and LSS hoping looking for unique and the latest and greatest. I also loved scrapbooking expos and even went to CHA during the heyday and it was so much fun and exciting.

There were only 1 or 2 scrapbook stores in my area during the SB heyday but they were never open during the hours when I wasn't working so I can't say that I miss those. I guess I miss the magazines the most, especially Scrapbooks Etc. I was disappointed when they stopped publishing it. I also miss the big scrapbook section at my local WM. What is there is miniscule now and not worth even looking at.

I miss the monthly Creative Memories Crops and having 4 scrapbook stores within a 20 minute drive. Shopping online is just not the same!

Missing LSS to see and touch premium products, IRL crops and all the camaraderie and fun, IRL classes at LSS, and paper magazines.

I miss all my scrapbook friends and having a place to scrap. We all are getting older and our kids are having kids now. I miss 2 peas and how our influence was in scrapbook world. There is only one scrapbook store privately owned miss all the styles that were around me.

The creativity sparks from shopping at an LSS and handling the product. I like texture, I guess, it's holding the items that inspire me. I remember fondling the excitement of visiting Recollections or one of the several LSSs near me and browsing the aisles getting inspired. Online shopping doesn't do the same thing for me nor does Michael's sparse and scattered aisles.

1. 2Peas 2. The excitement my friends used to share about new product. Now I feel like I'm the only one. 3. The buzz scrapbooking used to have a few years ago that was just so much positive energy. 4. When the LSS used to carry an entire line (not bits and pieces). 5. How many vendors Scrapbook Expo and CKC used to have back in the day. 6. The 10+ stores my area used to have for shopping. 7. Physical scrapbook magazines. 8. My larger scrapbook room.

I have been pretty luck, I still have an lss both in my town and my parents town so I can go and look at actual product. I miss the magazines the most, I am not sure what was so satisfying about paging thru one but I loved it.

I miss my LSS and the crops they had. What a sense of belonging that store gave me. I loved it.
I miss all those posts when the Hall of Fame calls were coming in on 2peas. I know, I know..drama! But still the board moved so quickly. So much excitement in the air.
I am going to miss that "Crop Nightmare" thread on 2peas. I loved that thread!

Magazines. I know I can find inspiration online, but I always loved getting a new magazine.

The magazines, the multiple LSS in my area, and having more friends that scrapped.
I still have scrapping friends, but a lot of them are newer friends. The gals that I originally scrapped with that didn't move away, almost all stopped scrapping.

Yup, all the LSS that use to be here. The store I worked at closed today, I am so going to miss the people.

I miss having a variety of scrapbook stores to shop at. We have had up to 5-7 LSS at one time, now we are down to one. It is in an area that I do not go to. I miss the Friday night crops I used to go to with my friend Faye at an LSS that was closer to me. I scrap once a week now with a friend I have gotten to know better since all the LSS's have closed. I do most of my shopping online at ACOT.

I'm sad that I missed the heyday of scrapbooking. I started in 1995. I loved it and started going to crops and I scrapbooked as much as I could with two little ones. Then in 1998 my husband died and it was just too painful to continue at that time. I still took lots of pictures and I hoped that I would continue one day, but it took until 2009 to get to that point. So I missed out on a lot of the excitement. The scrapbook stores in my area were just starting to close when I was getting back into it and now they're all gone. I am thankful that I finally did start again. I just wish more people were still scrapping.

I loved all the magazines, taking a Saturday to visit the four LSS (they are all gone), the excitment over new products (maybe not as much came out constantly?), and I will miss (starting on July 11) the Two Peas gallery. I also loved that every time we would go on vacation, I would look up scrapbooking stores in that area and I would visit them! (Club Scrap on my honeymoon!) Now there aren't usually stores left.

- CK magazine
- CKU
- Variety of local stores
- Variety of crops (one night and weekends)
- I dreamed of attending CKU in the mecca of scrapbooking (Utah) and never made it happen.
