Normally I scrap chronologically, and historically I'm very accurate. Recently, I goofed a bit when printing pictures, and got a few out of order. Not a big deal, necessarily. Did a some pages, put them aside to get them into the a book later, when the rest of the pictures were printed. One of those pages I did was of me on my birthday.
Over the weekend I went to a crop, brought the rest of printed pictures, and was proud of how many pages I got done. Do I need to tell you one was of me on my birthday? How does one do that??? Bad enough to repeat pages, but my birthday? How did I not remember I did that page?
I decided to keep both pages - and will add something about senility setting in.
Please tell me other people have duplicated stuff, so I don't feel so alone in my dementia.

I did that with one of my dd's baby book pages. Specifically a one pic layout of her with her grandmother. A very important, special page. Done twice. I had totally forgot I did it the first time, had the pic printed again, and made another layout with it. I go to put it into the album and what do we have? LOL the pic already scrapped. I ended up keeping both in the album, one after the other.
It was funny because I scrapped them both so completely differently.

I scrapped a set of pictures twice, but part of the reason was that the original layout somehow never made it into the album but got overlooked in a cropping bag that I stopped using.
It can happen to anyone. Personally, I would keep the layout I liked the best and not put both in the album.

Nope you are not the only one.....I've done it with a couple travel albums...lost track of what I scrapped and didn't and ended up with double pages for the same place....funny they looked pretty close too!!!!

You are not alone-I've done it with older pictures a couple of times. I'm so far behind, it's not even funny. The sad part is I even have a spreadsheet that should keep me on track with what I have scrapped and haven't scrapped. I guess I didn't look at it. Oh well, I gave the duplicate layouts to my mom for her album. She loves pages of her grandkids.

I've made the polar opposite mistake: scrapped a layout without all of the photos I meant to use on it. I print my photos at home, I only choose the photos for one layout at a time before hitting print, and they go straight into my folder to be scrapped. WTF happens between then, and when I go to take them out to scrap, I will never know in a million years. But finding that amazing photo (or 2!) AFTER I've finished a layout that I love, SUCKS!!!

I haven't done an entire layout twice, but I have scrapped a photo twice.
And I have scrapped events w/out all the photos in them.
And that's all I'm going to admit to.

I NEVER!!!!
Well just once....
well just once in a while.....
well ok, to many damn times to count....
Don't ya hate it when the repeat turns out better than the one you did the first time?
Well, then what do you do?? If you like the 2nd-- do you give it to the middle child?
HAPPY MIDDLE CHILD DAY (A DAY LATE OF COURSE)

I have duplicated pages and both of them were really nice, so I ended up keeping both but it seems silly to do so.

I JUST found duplicate layouts this week - and they are very similar. I gave the spare to my daughter (photos were of her).
I had mis-filed the layout in the wrong year (2010 vs 2011) originally and then when I was going through the 2011 album ordering photos to fill in the holes, I went ahead and ordered them since the layout wasn't in the album....and then found the layout when I went through and started ordering to fill in the holes in 2010.
I'm a chronological filer but not scrapper

Something must be wrong with me because I haven't done that yet. Maybe it's because I print my photos as I take them, rather than print them when I am ready to scrap them. Or maybe because I'm so slow I don't get that much accomplished so I'm in no danger of scrapping the same thing twice.

I did that with photos of me with my kids, not once, but twice, when I just grabbed a stack of photos already printed and decided to just work with them, so I have 3 different layouts with the same photos! I just told people I made one for each of my 3 kids! Given that there are so few photos of me despite the thousands of photos we have taken, I'm sure each kid will want to have that photo someday! (I did it on purpose - yeah, right!)
