It has been on my amazon wish list forever (maybe Christmas) and DH just ordered it for me. It is an amazing knife. Thank you so much for suggesting it. I have friends coming for a girls long-weekend. We cook, enjoy some fancy cocktails and do something crafty. I always get something for them (embroidered aprons, cutsie spatulas/measuring cups, etc.) I'm ordering these for them. They will love them. The Cheese KnifeThanks again for the great recommendation. (I'm really pretty sure it was akathy that recommended it!)

Back on 2peas, I mentioned that this is the one kitchen gadget that I really love.
This past weekend I brought my cheese knife along to our out-of-town family reunion, because I signed up to bring the cheese, sausage and cracker trays. My aunt was so amazed at how well it sliced through cheese, never sticking or smooshing the slices....so I gave her mine. This post reminded me that I have to order one for myself.

I seriously just clicked the link without reading a single reply and used one click ordering without reading a single word on the amazon site either. Stop controlling me!

Yes! I have sung the praises for this knife for a few years now. I got all of my friends these knives for their birthdays one year! Glad you like it too

I have that same knife, on the recommendation of a local kitchen store. It really is fantastic. It's just freakin' magic with soft cheeses. I've given many as gifts and people are always a bit skeptical at first. Then they use it and fall in love

I bought the smaller one after the recommendation on 2Peas, and loved it so much I bought the bigger one too. My husband was using it the other day and was quite happy with how well it worked. It's one of my favorite kitchen items now. That, and my offset bread knife from King Arthur Flour.

I bought it too and LOVED if until the blade snapped off of the handle. My 16 year old was using it, so I don't know what she did to make that happen. I've been afraid to get another one, but they really are great!

Yeah, I just bought one, too. I remember reading about it on the old board & was going to order but never did. Can't wait to get it!
