That's my husband, never figures something out himself...and worse he'll just makes assumptions and pass that info along rather than fact check. The best part (sarcasm) is that he's right until proven wrong because if it's something important enough that he's spewing wrong info on, you have to look it up to "prove" to him he's wrong in order to get it to stop. Annoying!!
My vent, we were slammed with 19 inches on snow over the weekend. We're now on day 2 of single digit temps, it's 1 currently. Gotta love when you have to endure snow and frigid temps back to back!

Oh I needed this today. In the worst way. I just accepted a job Friday, one that I've been after for about 2 years now. I called my soon to be training coordinator to inform her that I am 30 weeks pregnant. The conversation didn't go well. Why did the universe have to time everything so poorly? Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, feeling like doo-doo right now! Aw, I'm sorry. Were you not showing during the interview and they didn't know? It'll work out. The interview was 2 months ago, so I wasn't showing. Half of the people I talked to told me I should have told them in the interview, the other half say it would have served no purpose other than to give them a chance to come up with a reason other than pregnancy to not hire me.
The woman wasn't mean or anything like that, it's just they want to start a 6 week training course for all the new hires the month I am due, it kind of throws a wrench in things a bit. Hubby made me feel better last night. I just really didn't want to start a new job as "that" pain in the butt employee and I feel like I already am.
Thanks for the kind words Anita.

This weather roller coaster is driving me insane. Over the weekend, we had lows of 17, and one day that we barely got above freezing. Today, our high is supposed to be 78, tomorrow 82. Insane, I say!

My vent- I want to do something in Excel / MS Office that seems to me would be pretty simple but I can't find a solution.
Not as important as other RefuPea vents but it's slowing down my work!

Dear baby,
I love you so much. And you are super tiny and adorable and that makes me want to hold you all the time. And yet, for something so tiny, you are seriously kicking our butts! I need for you to get your days and nights switched pronto. Last night I got an hour and a half of sleep! I need a bit more kid!

None of the snow has been good timing for a snow day or delay. I'm hoping the wintery mix comes about 5:00. I'm still bitter about our shorter Christmas break this year. I'd like some snow days so I can get caught up on work and get more rest. I take that back.

Why are my orange peels a " problem" for the garbage disposal and your nasty liquid pork fat is fine. #idiot I don't know why, but that literally made me LOL. I actually snorted.

And my son works at a grocery store. They all have to report to work so all the people who have work off today can wander around the store. I don't understand this....? They HAVE to be AT the store, even though they're not scheduled to work?

Should have made that clearer...if he is schedule to work, then he has to be there , no matter what the weather or the roads are like.

I have no school age children children at home. But they keep closing the area where my husband works. I may end up going nuts with all the togetherness. And my son works at a grocery store. They all have to report to work so all the people who have work off today can wander around the store. Megmc- I understand-husband was home yesterday again and both of us are going nuts. He isn't allowed to work from home since he can't bill the client for a closure day. The plows have not made it to my neighborhood-again and I'm not sure I can get out of my drive. AHHHHHHH

My husband insisted we had to move my desk across the country. I didn't want it any more. He was sure, certain, positive I would want it when we actually moved into a new home. I told him I would not and that I also doubted our new home would have a craft room space as large as our last home. Guess what? I was correct on both counts.
Now I cannot get rid of the damn thing. No charity or thrift store here will pick up anything more than three feet in any dimension. I have tried to give it away and no one shows up. So there it sits in our garage. Ugh!
