I find it interesting that Jeff doesn't seem to be a part of this venture. It says, "we are a young team consisting of a mother, a daughter,a few friends and family and a few dogs too." I wonder why he isn't part of it. Did he go out and find a corporate job? I hope so, because I cannot imagine this clothing line bringing in enough to support a family. I thought I heard they were divorcing. Not sure if that is true but I remember reading that. I am the on that started that rumor. It was originally a question. The way the shut down the business is the way two people handle assets and liabilities in a divorce. If you can't work together to run the business you sell it. They couldn't sell the business so the only option left was liquidation with a sudden ending. eta: despite the instagram stuff I still think they are acting like people going through a divorce but don't want to make it public just yet. HOWEVER. that is just MY take on things. It may not be factual.

Maybe the "F...the Noise" shirt is her indirect response to all us Peas. That was my first thought, too!

If they were divocring, that information could easily be found online via the Wisconsin Court System (just about every state has online look up these days). Considering how nosy the peas are, I doubt they are divorcing, as I feel that information would already be posted!

And a check of her instagram shows a fairly recent (earlier this summer) photo of her and Jeff happily holding hands as well as a throwback to their wedding day, with her declaring this summer marked 20 years of marriage.

F the noise? Really? I have a foul mouth, on occasion, but I really have an issue with people wearing language such as this on their clothing. Free speech and expression is not lost on me. It just makes me shake my head. There are kids around that need not be subject to such language. One who elects to wear such a shirt is clearly going for shock value but it saddens me. Not sure I can even properly express why. Maybe the casualness of society? The lack of respect for those around you? Can't totally pinpoint it to communicate my real issue with it. Yes, it's the total lack of respect for those around you who will be subjected to the message on the tshirt that is so discouraging. It just underscores the fact that I think that I am the most important thing in the universe, so I will do/say/wear whatever I want regardless of the impact it has on innocent bystanders. A sad commentary on today's societal norms.

I'd consider paying that much for a shirt if they came out with a "Proud Ex-Member of the hated NSBR" shirt with pretty artsy lettering.

I would NEVER wear a "Fuck the Noise" t-shirt that's 40% polyester. if anything, it should be F&*% the polyester. Word.

I am not even going to look. I don't want too many hits on her site. [HASH]$% the Noise??? Really?? She even got the saying wrong, lol. What are her return policies and shipping policies? Hopefully 40% polyester shirts are not too fragile to buy on the internet!

Or, if we are going to be vulgar: The things I learned about on NSBR: Merkins, MSP, & Menstrual Cups!

funny, but the one thing we look for in t-shirts is a poly blend. Why? Because of shrinkage with 100% cotton. Unless the company is willing to invest in pre-shrunk cotton (which very very view are willing to do), that long T you just bought is gonna be oh so short short after washing!
My son's pet peeve and the reason he does his own laundry now (on time). Mom (me) always tossed everything in the dryer ... oops!

I kinda like them (except the F the noise one) but think they are too expensive. But, I guess if you call it a "lifestyle brand" you can charge anything. I always want to ask "Whose lifestyle?". "Cause if it was mine they would be 2 bucks at the thrift store.

I've never heard of "f the noise" either- it's "f THAT noise".
Lifestyle brand? Seriously? What is that?

Hey, good on them for picking up and moving on... It's more than I've seen a lot of people do here. I may not be a fan of how they ran their business or how they closed up shop, but they are moving on. Good for them. I wish them well. And I'm too cheap to pay that much for shirts.

They look similar to most other t-shirts I've seen being marketed to teens and young adults. I like the font they used, but other than that, they don't really strike me as overly original or anything.
As for the "F*ck the Noise" shirt, I agree with the sentiment behind the design, but would never wear a shirt that had a curse word splayed across the front. I'm a teacher, though, so I tend to be pretty boring and conservative in my clothing choices.

Am I the only one that thinks this whole thread is a bit "stalker-ish"? TwoPeas is gone and we've created a great community on our own (with admin's most awesome work!). Why does anyone care what this woman is doing now?
Honest question. Any snark is unintentional.

So many posts about people you all supposedly hate. Weird. I'd rather focus my energy on something positive.

I just don't get the anger, hatred and sometimes rage that members here have for the whites --I mean they used their message board for free for what 15 years? The hoping and wishing that the Whites fail? How would you like someone wishing that on you or someone in your family? Those types of comments say more about you than the Whites. Even after the ONE GG incident of the accidental reveal of messages between GG and KW. Many of the peas were 1,000,000 times worse than what little was said in the messages. You would think that starting this new group would hopefully end the verbal onslaught and hatred for people who none of us really know! They are husband and wife, parents who are likely trying to move on with the next stage of their life after 15 years of working a business together. I hope that whatever they do that they are happy and it is as good as they want it to be.

Someone said in another thread that they made plenty money from the ad revenue of the NSBR since we all showed up everyday.

I'm not gonna lie. The gray heart one is cute. And I might even consider spending the money on it - if the business was owned by just about anyone else. I don't have a lot of faith in there being any customer service involved in this new venture...

The F**K the noise one is just offensive. I loathe that word. But I do like the Ampersand one. Not sure I would pay $28 for it though.

I am surprised by the vitriol I'm reading here. I guess I shouldn't be.

Business is one thing but the personal attacks are awful. The other thing is that no one knows why the stopped or and actual facts of why they stopped. Everything has been gossip, speculation and as another put it-vitriol. Not one person on the old peas or here knows for a fact that they can substantiate what their reasons were or anything about their finances.
