The speculation about their marriage is pretty distasteful and over the top, IMO. I am surprised by the vitriol I'm reading here. I guess I shouldn't be. FTR I am not speculating, I just thought I had read it somewhere. I don't want them to fail at everything the do, etc. But I do think they are awful business owners and have a lot to learn. I hope you don't think that's what I was saying. I in NO way hope/wish/even want to know if they are/are not getting divorced. I was just surprised that he was not listed as a partner in the new venture. That's all, I promise.

Has anyone tried ordering a shirt? Wondering if their shipping prices are still as outrageous as on 2Ps?

Has anyone tried ordering a shirt? Wondering if their shipping prices are still as outrageous as on 2Ps? Out of interest, I checked... $3.06 shipping to NC. Reasonable.

I don't like the F one. The others are cute but overpriced.

The shirts . . . The spelling and grammar on that site makes me sad. Overall, about what I'd expect from whatshername.

They look similar to most other t-shirts I've seen being marketed to teens and young adults. I like the font they used, but other than that, they don't really strike me as overly original or anything. ITA- there's t-shirts all over the internet and although I like supporting moms who have small businesses, I think I supported Kristina White enough-I actually DID shop a lot over at the bucket . they remind me a lot of Sevenly t-shirts and they run typically around $28 to $36 but part of that goes to a charity. I have a really cute baseball style autism shirt that I live from there. About the f*ck the noise t-shirts/flair, I think that's tacky, no matter how beautiful the script is. Do you think this is why 2peas went under, she just wanted something else and was sick of scrapbooking? I hadn't heard they were officially bankrupt, I had heard the company owed a lot of $$ to creditors .

I find the site amateurish. Centered text is so 1980s and a big no-no and the font on their website name is illegible. It looks like We Blou Kiggy or Killy or something. The word doesn't even look like Kisses.

I get the impression it's her kid's site, maybe her teen daughter's designs and first business. That would explain the amateurish vibe.

Proof your site before you go public??
The eff the noise and punch today in the face are certainly not things I would ever let my teen wear! I mean the shirts are cute enough, but the price is crazy! They are just not that special!
I wish them luck

Or, if we are going to be vulgar: The things I learned about on NSBR: Merkins, MSP, & Menstrual Cups! Bwahahaha. OMG. Me too. For reals. Lol. First time using the quote button. Hope it works.

funny, but the one thing we look for in t-shirts is a poly blend. Why? Because of shrinkage with 100% cotton. Unless the company is willing to invest in pre-shrunk cotton (which very very view are willing to do), that long T you just bought is gonna be oh so short short after washing! My son's pet peeve and the reason he does his own laundry now (on time). Mom (me) always tossed everything in the dryer ... oops! Why only in boring white and grey? And $30 for a tee is ridiculous! Someone said in another thread that they made plenty money from the ad revenue of the NSBR since we all showed up everyday. My guess is that they are doing white and ash because if they screen dark colored shirts they would need to be flash cured - which adds $ to the production cost. If they are direct to garment prints, they'd need white ink first as an underlay - doubling the ink cost and production time. Either way, $30 for a one color, one side print is way over the top. I think the f the noise shirt is awful. The person wearing it doesn't have to read it - it's all the people that they pass on the streets, etc that do. No thanks!

Having her daughter pose in a shirt that says f*ck the noise makes me think even less of her than I already did. Gross.

all I can think of is the song Bring the Noise by Public Enemy back in the late 80's! That's what I thought I thought of too! I'd wear a bring the noise shirt though.

So we all abbreviated Two peas in a Bucket to Two Peas, will this new venture become known as We Blow? I wouldn't pick a name with We Blow in it for any business, other than say glass blowing or demolition. That one made me laugh

Actually there's several Peas who had dealings with the Whites over the years and could tell first hand stories about their methods of doing business, and their financial history. The fact they haven't shows restraint and good business sense.
