I think I want sweet freedom. I just don't NEED anymore 4th of July stuff. It ends up with me scrapping just because the pics are cute and man...I have more that needs scrapping, so it feels wasteful scrapping a lot of similar photos just because they are cute (we take staged photos of them every year).

I'm looking forward to Sweet Freedom. DS is an Eagle Scout, loves hiking and I have a bunch of bison pics to scrapbook from a vacation we took a couple years ago. The red/wt/blue and masculine tones are calling to me for those photos.
I like the school line simply because it isn't elementary school elements and my kids are older. There are a couple papers from two other lines that I will probably pick up but that's it.

You're so neat--playing fair I agree the non pink tends to be theme-y. Oh well still lots to drool over!!

Thanks, nicolep. These are much more "My" colours. Would you mind giving us a list of which lines these are? So we can go get more info if & when it's available? I recognize Sweet Freedom and the KC blue one as lines I already had on my radar. But not sure what the others are...

Now that I have a closer look (was on my cell earlier) it saddens me that 1/3 of these images are mini lines (3 papers instead of 12+ and no embellishments except for a 6x12 sticker sheet). Yes there are options, but it just really shows the extent of pink, the pink heavy lines are HUGE full collections with a ton of products to choose from...the non pink ones are small and feel like they are given no thoughts. But still...I really do like the 4th of July lines. I've bought several in the past couple of years and I think it's due to the influx of navy. I never really gave those lines much thought and then Simple Stories started adding navy and other companies followed suit. I find those papers some of my favorites to use and it kind of makes me sad that independence day isn't as big of a holiday as the ones near the end of the year...fewer photos to scrap with them. Upside is that I can do a whole week in PL using 4th of July product even if it's only one day.

I like the Bella Blvd line! I'll be getting some of that.
Simple stories had some new ones out too - mostly themed though. Sports, dad, football etc.

Bella Bld is coming out with a lot of lines for younger kids. Lots of cute(sy) animals. I did like this line of Secrets of the Sea for all of the blues. Not too many sea animals here. Of course they made a pink line too!

I will buy Jen Hatfield's collection as well as the Sweet Freedom collection. My oldest is going to college where the mascot is a buffalo, so that line will be handy.

Love the Ubud Dreams collection - may be putting that in my cart soon. I use a ton of blues and greens, and it's not too theme-y. I really love it!

Thanks for doing this nicolep! Ugh. I wish more of these non-pink lines were my style.

Oh, this is so much more my speed than the pink-heavy collage! I don't mind pink in small doses, but this is definitely my comfort zone.
Still need Science Fair. I could easily snap up Ubud Dreams in its entirety. I hadn't seen Secrets of the Sea before and although it's cutesier than my usual style, there are a few papers that I really like. Pebbles/Jen Hadfield is really versatile. I like both Photoplay collections a lot although for once my preference might not be the travel theme (I have a metric tonne of travel papers already!). Perhaps most surprising to this non-American is that I really like Sweet Freedom, and with the exception of the flag-based papers and 4th July specific embellishments, I could happily use most of the line. I particularly like the stylised feathers (a slightly new take on that motif), the bold floral, and the navy ombre.

I love Sweet Freedom. I can think of lots of different things I would do with it that aren't related to the 4th of July. Something about it just speaks to me.
