Your mini distress ink pads? How do you store them?
i have been using a CTMH small tote for mine. It holds 24 little square pads, plus a couple of mini distress tool handles and lots of extra ends. I can use the tool to pick up the inks right from their spot in the tote, or pull the little squares out to use directly.

I have a longer drawer (part of a buffet) in which I store all inks, paints, stickles. I used to just stack them in there, in drawer organizers. But I had an extra ArtBin Prism case bcz the Tombow markers wouldn't fit, so I have my Tim Holtz and Kelly Purkey mini inks in there. I love these cases and have a few different styles, they are fairly sturdy, but narrow and easy to store. It will fit 8 inks in each separation, I have about 40 in there. I think there are a few cat eye inks in there as well. ArtBin Prism case

I use the Tim Holtz mini distress ink tins. Not very original but I do love them. I also store all my other ink cubes in there, as well as any cat's eye inks (I simply remove the plastic divider and then the cat's eye inkpads fit in perfectly). I currently have 8 of them in use. They also fit perfectly in some of my Interdesign Linus containers, a la Jennifer McGuire.

I only (only, haha) have either 12 or 16 mini distress inks so far, so right now I keep them in a wooden cigar box that latches closed. There's enough room in the box for a handle and a small Ziploc bag of extra applicator thingamajigs, too. If I get more of them (which I'd like to; the mini size is GREAT for the kind of stamping / inking I like to do on my crafting), then I'll need either a bigger cigar box, or a second one.
(I get my cigar boxes for free at a cigar store when my BF buys cigars; the store owner puts out the empty boxes for people to take if they want. They don't always have latches, so it's nice that this one does have. If the boxes don't have a latch, then I might use a huge rubber band to keep it closed.)
I store them with the applicator tucked underneath 'in' the base' and I store them right-side up so I can tell what color is what. The cigar box sits on my shelves at home, and it's easy to grab and pack when I crop at the SB store.

I only have 12 mini distress inks (the ones that came out once a month in 2015) and I keep them in the Tim Holtz tins. I keep the tin in my drawer with all the regular sized distress ink pads I have.

After not being able to find a 'better' way to store my mini ink cubes I just last week gave in to the TH ink tins I have 5 and need to order some more. I really like the Altenew mini ink pads so I need a couple of tins for them.

Exactly! I like the whole tin idea ...especially since all of the different companies minis fit in....just ...why only 12? Why not 36, or 48 ? Would be great if his whole collection fitted in one don't you think?

Here is how I store mine. This container is now completely full with the mini inks. I'm going to a crop tomorrow and I just tossed the whole thing in the front of one of my totes. I love that you can also turn this upside down and everything stays wet.

I have a layer of foam with another layer of sparkle foam on top of it. It is a thin case, so those two layers keep everything tight.

I store mine in the older stampin up cases for wood mount stamps. They are a thin plastic but strong and I have them separated into color families.

I have mine in the Distress tins. I recently heard Tim mention in a video that this bag was designed to hold 6 tins. I had the bag and never knew that, so now I have a new place to keep them corralled. Mine is the Wendy Vecchi version. Tim and the Ranger other designers have theirs, too.

I store my ink pads in 3 drawer plastic containers like these. This is two of them together.

They fit 12. Mine fits 80 something and costs less than one tin to make. It is super practical and not as cute as the tins. I have my Prima inks (small blue ones) in another container that stores them perfectly too. Companies who put out mass products should sell inexpensive practical storage so that people would want to fill the storage containers with their product.
