I know a lot of you are finished or nearly finished your DD's or your Christmas scrapbooking, but I am just today getting my december photos printed. So I will be looking for lots of inspiration over the next couple of weeks. Would love some links to what you have done, or to ideas for pages you found inspirational. Today I got an email alert for THIS POST in Scapbook Savvy. What have YOU found out there in the World Wide Web? Don't think I am entirely alone here, either. So if you are scrapping the holidays over the next little while, let's keep each other motivated and inspired.

I always find Christmas hard to do. I think it's because the photos are usually so busy. I need to focus more on a single person and use the portrait setting on my camera, so the background is blurred. I never remember!
Also, I just finished last years Christmas photos. I really cut back on the number of photos I scrapbooked. That helped. I even threw away the ones I didn't use (gasp!).
I usually go to Pinterest for inspiration. Or to scrapbook.com.

I have some Christmas pics on the way too. PJ portraits. ..taken by their mom. Shutterfly offered 4 free art prints right after Christmas and I ordered those for the 4 gs who we spent Christmas with. I cannot resist those. Only 4 pics but may be the only one I do this year. These boy's mom is a photographer and they may be the most photographed kids in history.

I am going to be working on my Christmas photos very soon because I just started my current photos again. By current I mean from August 16 to now. I don't have a ton of Christmas photos and I got them printed in 2x3 so I won't do many pages.
I do one album for one son and one for the other so each has their own photos and then 1 or 2 shared photos. If I d anything I really like over the next few weeks I will post it here.

Thanks for sharing your pages @elaynef and ecvnj58 . I love that 4x4 block design, whether filled in with photos or pp. I can see myself lifting this at least once! I saw justjac 's cool DD yesterday, and can see myself adapting some of her digi pages to a 12x12 traditional format, too. Ahhh. The possibilities... Please keep sharing your Christmas pages here, whether from last month or last year. And if you see in a different place--Pinterest, a blog, our own gallery--a particular page or project that inspires you, please pass that along too. I am thinking this lovely page posted by audreykit in the 2peas Gallery would work wonderfully for a Christmas page: I am seeing a pattern here--a large mosaic pattern or two will be appearing in my Christmas album soon, I think! We are all in this together!

I am hoping to finish up my Dec Daily so I am enjoying the Christmas inspiration too. I've got all that Christmas stuff out on my work area and I'd love to get it finished up and put away the Christmas products.

ecvnj58 that is a beautiful page! My oldest kids just turned 20 on Christmas Day. Every year I put 2 pages in a Christmas album that could remind me of each year. The past two years I haven't done a thing, but you totally inspired me. My poor youngest always misses out!

Here is my first Christmas page. I started with a gorgeous photo my ddil sent me in November. Wasn't sure HOW I was going to use it, but I knew this one HAD to get into my scrapbook. When I took it out this morning and started waving it over various Christmas pp collections, I realized it matched the one page from CB perfectly, so then I just started mixing and matching papers for the layers. Was still wondering how it would fit into my winter or Christmas story. Then I remembered the GIS "Your Christmas Story" series, and realized this fit right in with "Harbingers of adventure". The facing page will be picture heavy with all the signs of the season, and that is often a pattern of mine: a very layered, focus-on-one-photo page with a very busy get-the-photos-glued-down page. Anyway, here it is: how do we know by Gramma Dee, on Flickr
